if you don't know or don't care, then explain to me again why I'm taking the time to explain science to you?

There is no 'IF'. Evolution is the answer and evolution is taking place right now but it is very slow.
Then you make the same mistake as all the other religious people, you make a rather childish assumption that they all make - 'Someone had to create it'.
What gives you that idea?
Why does there always have to be a 'someone' out there to manufacture everything when, quite plainly, all this stuff that you see about you was created naturally.
My sincere advice to you is to put aside these childish notions and pick up some information on science, physics, astronomy and even history. Try reading Carl Sagan or Stephen Hawking instead of genesis.
Religion is fake and was created by ancient man to gain control over ancient man. This is 2007 and we are not ancient man. It is surely time that the human race dispensed with these myths and fairy-stories and became adults using applied intelligence. Welcome to reality!!! It's really good. It sets you free mentally. Could well be worth a try?

Julie, for once in your miserable life, pick up a f*cking book that starts with a B but doesnt end in "ible". Other people know s*it too, people that are alive today. maybe if you read a bit about the subject, you'll at least sound educated.

ps. is you didnt get the B reference, the answer was a biology book

Evolution has nothing to do with where matter originally came from. The answer to that is, obviously, Creation! Biological evolution began billions of years after the initial creation, and relates only to ongoing changes in living organisms.

Please read the Big Bang Theory and there it will be explained where it all started. This explanation is science-based just like the evolution. However, if you have faith in God then you will believe in God's creation. Science and Religion are two different subjects. In case of doubt, follow your heart.

Basically you're asking if either god or evolution (but I think you mean origin of life) ever got started. Well, since we weren't around billions of years ago we can only infer based on evidence at hand. That is difficult to do.

God created the big bang, which formed earth. he added water and skies and air. He then placed one cell that evolved to Adam, the first man on Earth. He was prbly like a caveman, not a current human. God put adam to sleep one night and out of his ribs made Eve. They boys that got married. They lived a long tome so they could have a lot of kids. Adam lived 900 something years.

Do you mean the origin of life?

Or the origin of the universe?

http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/astronomy/bigbang.html

These are two very different things.
