i just wanna know how many are out there
are you religious or do you have a real relationship with Jahova
so much that you could call each other friends
for God said come let us reason together
and most of the apostles were called a friend of God even Moses
or do you think that this whole thing is just a religion?

I have a personal relationship with my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! He is far more than just a friend.
I despise the word religion because it brings up pictures of "having a form of godliness but denying the power." Ritual, dogma, and everything but real life in Christ.

I have a personal relationship with Jesus who is Lord and Savior over his children. It's a deeper commitment than just a religion. I live to glorify God. I am sinful, however, and I can only be united with God because of Christ's perfect sacrifice on the cross. The Bible is very clear about the deity of the Father, Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit, while at the same time it's amazing to see how they are all separate persons yet also united as one, and only one God. I pray that the Lord will guide you to a clearer and deeper understanding of who he is, and that you too believe in him and receive the beautiful gift of grace that is your only means of salvation. Having complete confidence and assurance of your faith is such a blessing.

Finally, someone who gets it! :)
Christianity isn't a religion. It's a relationship one has with his or her Creator. I get so tired of having to refer to that relationship as a religion...as if it were on the same level with Pagan idol worship or some other such nonsense. I would venture to say Christians are the world's most misunderstood people for this reason.

No. For me it is all about a personal relationship. We talk which includes listening as well. Although the group I worship with have a set of common beliefs we do not have a creed. We allow the Lord to continue to speak to us. As in any relationship it continues to grow and mature.
Yours in Christ,
Miss Mona

You will notice the quick negative response you received by this question. Something those who are answering negatively is that there is a relationship involved and the changes it can mean to your life. ( these responses will get me several thumbs down, but little true discussion of the subject
