Religious people, please let me know why are you so foolish?

Hold on now! Before you go and get the wrong idea, this isn't another question about why religion is bad or why is it wrong.

Of course, it IS bad, and it IS wrong. But this is so obvious that it no longer needsto be said.

Instead, this is a direct attack on you, the religious people. The argument? That your failure to reject religion indicates you are colossally, irredeemably stupid.

Religion is fundamentally flawed in a staggering variety of ways, to the point that a 3 year old can bring down the entire framework of baloney with an innocent question.

Such questions include:

- Why is there evil?

- Who made god?

-Why should I trust you after that santa claus thing?

But you didn't ASK those questions, did you? Or if you did, you accepted the pathetic rationalizations that were offered without further contemplation.

Perhaps you were afraid to ask, or even think about it. You comforting little worldview matters more to you than the truth.

these questions have answers. 3 year olds ask them, adults understand the answers.

why's there evil? because good and evil are constants. with a free will, comes the freedom to choose. and of course, not everything possible is beneficial. for example, I have the ability to pick up a knife, I have the knowledge that if a windpipe is damaged the person will cease to function, and I have the ability to be motivated ratioonally or emotionally: conclusion? I could kill someone if I wanted to. so you see little billy, evil exists because God doesn't manipulate the physical realm, which isn't beneficial to us or himself: evil.

God is constant. a non-tempral being needs not initial point, space or dimension. He did not come from anywhere because He created everywhere, and the creator cannot come from His creation. He is constant and not bound by the laws of the universe which he made.

if I'm stupid, then logically, the IQ tests were very flawed or you use stupid as a colloquial idiom rather than it's specific meaning.

See these are the kind of people that make atheists look bad. I am an open minded athiest and i never think like this. I respect people for who they are and what they believe and leave them alone. No one really knows how we came to be here but i do know it was bigger and more complicated than we can imagine.

Religion is NOT wrong it is simply an explanation for things...christianity has no bad intentions.

Do you know us all personally ?? Have you been to my home ?? Were you there when I was 3 years old ??? You won't always be a scoffer. If you really want the answers you are asking, like why is there evil and who made God, you can find the answers in the Holy Bible. Get one in plain English so you can understand it. Or will you have contempt, prior to investigation all your short life? Obviously, you have not read it, or you wouldn't have to ask those questions.

Why would respecting others, Loving your neighbor, honoring you mother and father and forgiving those who call you stupid ; just to name a few ;be considered foolish.
