Shouldn't those be left for the regular culture section? R&S is about R&S not, "Why can't we all get along?" I actually think we get more progress from some of the offensive questions than these other questions.

What do you think?

peace makers are great--at a real conference or something. this is not the forum for that. we should just be learning about other religions in here, it's obvious people go off on others more in here but are truly tolerant outside of here (offline) I feel there is no point in doing it on here.

Yes, these people don't want anything even slightly challenging discussed...we need to speak and ask questions freely without being deliberately or gratuitously offensive of course.

As someone who wrote a "why can't we all get along question," I would like to point out that if people had in fact answered the question in a mature way, then someone could have pointed out the major differences in religions to explain their reasoning and then some progress would have been made. But I will admit that when I asked the question it ended up not making all that much progress.

When people respond or write "offensive" questions the only thing they end up doing most of the time is preaching their beliefs. Don't I have a right to do the same thing by teaching my belief of tolerance?

I think that we should simply avoid answering the questions we do not like. I am a little bit tired of people whining about different stuff. But I have learned to ignore things instead of whining.

We do not have to tolerate everything. There is NEVER going to be such a thing as peace on earth before we all change ourselves first. Consider that it is NEVER going to happen.

Yeah i agree, and i am the same with the ones if they are married. But if you have only been with someone for 2 moths to a couple years thats annoying when they ask questions like that. Cause if you cant be without your bf ever than thats a problem. And some, is said some girls think military = death. Ans i hate when people say, i dont want him to join or how do i make him stop, cause its their decision so you are pretty much SOL on that. Cause i mean i am 17 and i want to go into the Marines and if im medically allowed to be accepted, im enlisting, and no one can stop me; people with that mentality you cant stop because they have already thought about their decision and they are set on it. But, yeah to answer your question, i agree with you. Semper fi

That's true but I can find more intolerance in the answers to the questions. I think twice before asking or answering a question just to be political correct and not get deleted.

Yes sometimes I get tired to be tolerant.

Is anybody else getting tired of "tolerance" questions on here?

Oh, come on now....you can tolerate a few tolerance questions, can't you? LOL

Prosgress is a strange way to put it,,,fruitful, maybe...if our answers fall on fertile soil...I think they at least make people think...couse we may not want to hear what they're thinking... : )

Are you becoming somewhat intolerant of people refusing to accept the status quo. And what do you think of the peace-makers? They have to be monuments of tolerance.

i guess the questions might be in the wrong section, unless they're specifically talking about tolerance of each other's religion. in that case, why SHOULDN'T they be in this section?

This question is not a real question and its place is not in the r&s section - my opinion.
