I have the weirdest dreams. Most of my dreams occur when I am half awake and if I'm trying to fall asleep again I cant stop my "dream". Most of the time my dreams are disturbing and I can't get out of it. Sometimes it seems like I am being possessed. And the creepy thing is that i forget about what happened in the morning but i remember how i felt. and sometimes i am having a dream that i cant wake up from and i suffer in my dreams and i know that i am dreaming but i cant wake up no matter how hard i try does anyone else expearince this or have suggestions on how i can stop it

I have them all the time, I hear it is called astral projection...I actually see myself come out of my body..but I can't wake up I have to jerk and slap myself to wake up...I hate the feeling of no control. I thought for a long time I was alone in this...my mom used to think I was crazy when I told her..It's like your whole body feels tingly and you are paralized but you can come out of your body...it's crazy! I went on a forum on werewolf.com It tells a lot about it. I usually have to get up and walk around and watch TV or something or else I fall right back into it. But there are people who actually meditate and try to put there selfs into that state...weird!

Yes, I used to have terrible dreams and couldn`t wake up from them. Same dream over and over.
Usually after I first fell asleep I would have the dream. I would try and try to move or yell or make
some kind of noise but it was no use. I couldn`t.
After what seemed like ages, I would jerk awake and not want to go back to sleep. Then after a few years, the dream changed but was still terrible.
Thankfully, I have not had any of these kind of dreams for a 3 or 4 years.
I do not know why I had these kind of dreams but I
could usually tell when I fell asleep that I was going to have one.
I am so glad that Jesus took them away.

I know what you mean and I have both. Sometimes Im half awake and still dreaming. Thats when you're not in a deep sleep...its actually pretty cool in my opinion. Sometimes I have dreams from which i cant wake up. they're usually scary and have a hold on us because they are so powerful.

I agree, although I often find that I'm not as awake as I feel. (my dad will come in and say my name and I'll Jolt awake)

Have an alarm set 5 minutes earlier than you plan to wake up, set it back 5 minutes every day. (those dreams occur in those last 5 minutes) so while you'll end u waking up hours earlier evenutally- at least you'll avoid those dreams.

I do that sometimes. I am not aware at the time but I remember things that happen. One time I actually bit the fire out of my fiance' who was sleeping next to me. Aparently I was being attacked in my dream and I just reached and pulled his hand to my mouth and bit!

I don't know about stopping weird dreams. I have had dreams I really liked and then something or somebody woke me up and I tried to go back to sleep because I wanted to go back to that dream. Doesn't work:(

This is sometimes called "sleep paralysis." Some say it is an example of the spirit returning to the body from an OBE (Out-of-body Experience).

And yes I have experienced it at least twice that I can remember in my life.

According to Dreamcrowd:

To dream that you are dreaming, signifies your emotional state. You are excessively worried and fearful about a situation or circumstance that you are going through.
