Have I ever mentioned that I can't stand cats?
I'm thinking that if the whole point of life was to get to heaven or hell. that's a big F'n waste of everybody's time and money.

Wat these people are saying is not true. to be honest i can't give u an answer because it's not in the bible. but i can give u my opinion.....God loves us and He wanted to create us, in the end it is ur decision. How would u feel if someone put u in jail but didn't tell u why or gave u an option before u even ended up there. I'm not saying that u r going to hell. Just think of the now as the opportunity of choosing where u want to go. And get closer to God.

If by hell you mean eternal torment, it just doesn't fit. Not only would a loving God not do such thing, the following text becomes a lie...
Revelation 21:4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. And death shall be no longer, nor mourning, nor outcry, nor will there be pain any more; for the first things passed away.

If God exists I doubt it "knows" who is going to hell. The idea, even believed by Christians, is that God gave humans free will. If God believed it to be free will and made it that way then God by definition doesn't know what is that free will will result in.

Because God wants to give everyone on earth a chance for a better life as one of His Disciples! He would prefer that no one go to hell. God wants everyone to serve Him and live in His Kingdom forever.
Everyone has a choice as to how they want to live their lives. If they choose not to obey Him, and would prefer the things of this world, then they cannot go to meet God in heaven.

That would be both unjust (handing out punishment that had not been deserved) and inconsistent with the nature of God. It would require God to "take back" the gift of moral responsibility (free will) He has already given to Mankind, something He has already said He will not do ("the gifts and callings of God are irrevocable." Romans 11:29)

You should read the bible if you want to know about God. Get a New Living Translation, which is written in plain modern English and read it for your self.

If He did that, they never would understand WHY they ended up where they did. THAT would truly be unfair! Just because you read a book last year and know how it ends doesn't mean you can change the story! If the story changes, you have a different book. Unfortunately for you, you're stuck in THIS one.

That way those of us who are supposedly going to hell get to meet those who are going to heaven, so they get to feel self-righteously lucky. Otherwise, they would not know that they had dodged the bullet. And we get to serve as the negative examples.
And if you believe in that one, there's this bridge between Manhattan and Brooklyn that I think I can get for you for really cheap....

then
a) that'd mean everyone would go cause you can only end up in Heaven by going through the earth-life thing
b) people would complain "we didn't do anything!"
kind of a lose-lose situation.
