I have heard from numerous Jewish friends that they don't use the term. I guess both religions share a general moral code based on the 10 commandments, but how do the Jews differ from Christians in their 'values'
It seems that Jews value education that includes science far more than conservative Christians. Some Christians believe that everyone who hasn't accepted Jesus as his savior will burn in hell, but I don't think Jews believe that about people with other beliefs, do they? What else?

Judaism does not have an eternal hell, and does not see people as other religions as doomed or anything liket hat.

Judaism does NOT claim to be exclusively correct, or the only way to God.

I think the distinction isn't so much in practical difference, (everything jesus taught was jewish belief anyway[[edit: to speicify this more particularly, as far as behavior, if you belive jesus taught the trinity or such... well thats obviously not jewish, but stuff like loving your neighbor and all, is nothing new]]) but rather that "judeo-christian" in most applications, does not give respect/appriciate the massive differences in how judaism views God and sin and forgiveness.

in Judaism God *WANTS* to forgive.
in Judaism God is singular, undivided, and the idea of the trinity is polytheism.
in Judaism, God is avaliable for everyone. no mediator needed.
in Judaism, there is no Original Sin. we are born Innocent.
in Judaism, there is no Eternal Hell.
in Judaism, there was no angelic rebellion, and no Devil, Angels do not have true free will and *could not* rebel like that. and "The Satan" is the role an Angel, working for God, fulfills, under God's instruction.

Judaism is about this life, and being a decent, good person.

Yeah...there is no such thing as a Judeo-Xtian. They are simply too different. Some examples include beliefs about:

1) the forgiveness of sins
2) the belief in G-d (what is idolatry and what isn't)
3) the belief in the afterlife
4) the belief in original sin
5) the belief of Messiah

Judaism places values on the family and education (the home is the center of Judaism, not the synagogue, whilst a Xtian might say differently, that church is the center of Xtianity). One difference is also that Judaism places more stock in THIS life--our goal is to be the best person we can be in this life, whilst in Xtianity, this life is only a "qualification round" for the afterlife

Just to name a few differences.

Jews value obedience for the sake of obedience. They see the Creation story, Adam and Eve, etc. as being metaphorical---(which they OBVIOUSLY are) they feel free to talk to God straight up, not through Jesus or Mary. Not all Jews believe in an afterlife, or in a coming Messiah. There are as many opinions as there are Jews---ask 10 jews about a religious question and you might get 10 answers. Faith is less important than works.

Jews believe that one person cannot die for the sins of another person.
Jews believe that we do not need a blood sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins.
Jews believe that Jesus was not the messiah.
Jews believe that God hates human sacrifices. Who died on the cross? Was it Jesus-the-god, or was it Jesus-the-human? If it was Jesus-the-god, Jews don't believe that God can die. If it was Jesus-the-human, then all Christians have in the death of Jesus was a human death, a human sacrifice. Jews believe that God hates the very idea of human sacrifice.
Jews believe that one is born into the world with original purity, and not with original sin. Jews do not believe in original sin.
Jews believe that God is one and indivisible. Jews do not believe in a trinity.
Jews believe in The Satan, but not in a devil. There is a difference between The Satan and the devil.
Jews believe that God is God, and humans are humans. God does not become human nor do humans become God.

Basically, that's just a term referring to the 10 Commandments, the Golden Rule, monotheism, and the sacredness of Scripture. Jews are right to demur, xians have been co-opting their obeisance for far too long.

Pretending the Jewish deity & the Christian deity have anything in common is plainly ridiculous.Even Jesus pointed out how wrong the Laws of Moses were. For example--he said the "eye for an eye" was wrong--stoning an adulteress to death was wrong--divorcing your wife with a personal letter was wrong--"giving your enemy no peace" was wrong etc--& let's not forget the Jews had Jesus killed for disagreeing with their "Word Of God"

Well...I'm not sure because everyone's values are different, just like everyone's morals are different.

But Christians don't have to worry about the food we eat or have to follow all the little laws God said. We have a new covenant formed by the son of God, Jesus.
