I'm glad you asked this, as I was about to post it. They will be in my thoughts, along with the families of the victims. Such a sad day. I starred your question, so hopefully it will reach more people- Thanks again for thinking of them.

It doesn't matter what the religion or belief system is, it is at times like this that we need to remember everyone. So yes, they will be in my prayers, and also all those who are suffering from any of the fires and flooding any where in the world.

Yes, I have lit my candles and I have asked the Goddess and the God to help them find those who are still lost. I am also sending healing energy to those who are injured. I have several candles burning for the victims and the injured.
I am sitting now watching this on the Fox News Channel. I had not heard about it until late tonight as it is Lughnassadh and I had been out at ritual tonight.
I am now reading several different accounts of the incident, a few of the people claim to have heard several booms before the bridge collapsed. Makes one wonder what we may not be being told...

You got it. I work in an ER and see things worse than this all the time, but that's part of my job. My prayers stay with the injured and the ill.

Prayers are great, and a fantastic first step, but I think it's expected for us to also put our money where our mouths are.
Offering up words is nice, but offering your time, money, and/or possessions is what your fellow man needs.
So pray, and then do. Don't expect God to fulfill your prayers when you make no effort to do what you ask Him to do.

defnitely.
that is a very good Idea.
we SHOULD all try to keep them in our prayers.
that was a very thoughtful suggestion.
And God does hear and answer our prayers.
