Logically, some music is good, but not all music is good.
If all music were good, there would be no music that would be painful to listen to. This is not true. Go to just about any 2nd grade recital. Look at all the glued-on smiles. Watch the suppressed grimaces.

There are the purists who would say that if it isn't good, it isn't music, but probably most people would identify even bagpipe playing as music, just gosh-darned unlistenable music.

Music like most things know are negative and positive.
Some music does not resonate to a high level of spiritual growth. Some is negative and pulls down at the soul as it was intended. I suppose some music can excite to chaos,Murder and suicide. Some can lead to other dimensions and visions.

my brother (bless his heart) would say true. He says it's an artistic expression, you know, like the woman who's idea of art was to cover a naked manequin with slabs of raw meat..... well, art is - after all - art.
I say false - because there is just some art that is toooooo painful to either look at OR listen to OR both!
