Lindsey,
The Israelites were told ti tithe. Christians are told to "Give as they have been prospered". There is a difference. Whatever money you save will be charged you at the Judgment. You and I will meet Christ and both of us will be kneeling. I hope that your tune changes before that time or you will be sorry about your final destiny. Have a wonderful week.
PS...I know a group that would study the Bible with you since you know so little about it.... Interested??
Thanks,
Eds

I don't buy things if I don't need them actually. I save as much money as I can for my car and college. With the way gas prices are these days, I don't have money to go out and spend freely, as a student and a driver. If I don't need it - I don't buy it.

I usually donate that 10% (sometimes far more) to worth while charities.. (Local food bank, local crisis pregnancy center and such.)... I feel it is an investment in my community...
