you will have to stop with "picky eater" excuse and eat whats good for you - healthy things might take time to love.
since we cant naturally spot reduce body fat the only way to get rid of it is by lowering body fat percentage which you achieve by healthy diet and exercise.
find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio is the only fat burning exercise and burns fat all over your body (running, jogging, swimming, spinning, elliptical etc) 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
you can find lots of good info on shape.com community

Helpful Tips for weight loss:
1)A good way to loose weight is to use a calorie counter watch
Keep to a 1,200 food intake
Add 1,200 plus 3,500 (equals one pound of fat) ...and that is the total amount of calories you need to burn each day. Its actually really easy once you start watching the numbers and it doesn't seem like work or exercise. Its just a matter of changing the way you think about loosing weight.
I use this method when i gain some pounds. The first time I did this I went from 168 to 127
2) Most people do not get enough water in their system. Water is your body's principal chemical component, comprising, on average, 60 percent of your weight. Every system in your body depends on water. For example, water flushes toxins out of vital organs, carries nutrients to your cells and provides a moist environment for ear, nose and throat tissues.
Lack of water can lead to dehydration, a condition that occurs when you don't have enough water in your body to carry out normal functions. To determine if you are getting enough water use this simple formula.. Take your weight, for example 150 pounds and divide by 2. Take your answer which is 75 lbs and change it to ounces, in this case 75 ounces. That is how many ounces of water you need a day. Your body performs mostly on water. If you make sure you get enough water everyday your body will perform at top notch and your body will no longer have the cravings of junk food. You will have a better performing body system to help you work out and feel better thru out your day.

I know this sounds crazy but if you eat oat meal for breakfast and a fruity snack later. If you eat 5 small meals a day and eat before you get really hungry and exercise of course. And you said your a teen, you will probably lose a lot as you get older. How tall are you? because if you are like 5 feet and 4 inches then your not really fat. just pleasantly plump and you will lose it. Try not to think about it so much, sometimes when we concentrate too much on something it makes it worse, good luck

To lose weight the first step is to detoxify your body first. Too much toxins, make it very difficult to go to body to burn away fat; and all your energy only came from the food you eat. That is why people exercise and feel hungry all the time and can not lose weight. There are some other things you can do to help, like eat every three hours, so you would not feel hungry and eat too much each time. Is not what you eat, it is how you eat and how much you eat. You can eat almost anything, but avoid big meal, (big meal bring blood sugar up and left over energy become fat), drink green tea, exercises 30 minutes daily. And most importantly massage your self around legs, arms, and torso to detoxify your body and to improve circulation. After you free of body toxins, whatever you do to lose weight will work.

You're only about 15-20 lbs. overweight. That's not a whole lot, but it can LOOK like alot. You aren't fat, you are a person that needs to melt a little off. If you're big boned, you'll never be a model. Who'd want to be, anyway? Anyhoo- losing weight is eat an early good breakfast, whatever you want for lunch, and small or no supper- just drinks, teas, and small snack. Get active at least 30 straight minutes everyday. SImple.

Let me just say, I have been there. I was "mooed" at called "fat" "cow" and those words are hurtful and can leave emotional scars, but just make sure that you are ready to do this for you, and no one else.
First, eat in moderation, eatting 6 small meals a day instead of eatting 3 larger ones, makes you feel like you are eatting more and causes you to feel less hungry through out the day.
Second, drink LOTS of water. Drink one glass first thing when you get up and right after your last meal. This is to feel you up and cause you to want to eat less....and it does work.
Third, walk, work out, aerobics, lift weights, do all of these on different days so your body doesn't get used to the same routine.
Finally, depending on what you crave to eat, depends on the kind of lifestyle you want to live...and by lifestyle, I mean eatting with this workout routine.
I eat low carbs, because that is what I craved most: breads, pastas, sugars, and I have a medical issue (PCOS) which affects my hormones and insulin levels, so I needed to cut back on my carbs. The less I eat them, the less I crave them. The first 3 days are the hardest but by the end of the week you have less cravings and you notice the weight loss and it is an incentive. I eat cheese, veggies (all green) meats, eggs, diet pop, lots of water (2 litre a day) ranch dressing, and coffee and sugar free creamer, 1/2 cup cottage cheese a day, sugar free jello with whipping cream (let the whipping cream replace cold water). I know people look down on this diet, but I feel better because of my insulin levels. ASK your doctor, it is like the Atkins diet, but I eat some fruit like watermelon and bananas too, once a day. Some people eat brown rice once a day. It all depends on the carbs you want to eat. I try to limit mine to 20g a day.
I understand how frustrating it is to have a weigh issue, and unforunately our society looks down on overwight people, ESPECIALLY WOMEN.
So keep your chin up, remember that you are beautiful no matter what anyone else thinks, that GOD created you and that is all that matters, because GOD loves you.
AND...if you decide to change your lifestyle, do it for you and make sure it is healthy and your doctor ok's it too!!
Good luck!
