Momentum has a lot to do with motivation. It is like getting a giant heavy ball to roll. From a standstill it is not easy to move, but once you start getting the ball to roll, it is easy to maintain the movement.

Just get up and start doing it, even if it is only for a half hour a day and eventually the same exact things you HATE doing, you'll learn to enjoy.

Personally I think tv routines are too easy and lack the intensity and fun that you can have with working out, but I guess anything is better than sitting on your bottom and doing nothing.

I used to be like you, but now I love to sweat, burn, and hurt.

The best way is to make a workout schedule on paper and STICK TO IT.And NOT to make it long and boring.

For instance, say Mon-Fri you are going to work out and take the weekends off. Each workout will be an hour long. So time specific excercises into an hour workout.

*Make a schedule for weight training(3-5 exercises, 10 repetitions,3 sets) for mon.,wed., and fri.
*Make sure the excercises you do are different each weight training day.
*Example:
Monday do Upper body
wednesday do Mids and back
Friday do legs

On tuesday and thursday you will do cardio. Ride the bike, use the row machine, take a run, any thing as long as you keep to the same time.Whatever you are comfortable.Cardio is the part people hate,so make it fun.

Put it all on paper as a specific schedules to excercises in "1 hour long workouts" Mon-Fri. and stick to it!!!!!!

Thats the most important thing, dont take a day off. You can afford 5 hours to your self every week. Its a small price to pay for a beautiful body. After all you work 40 hour weeks. Whats another 5 hour for your health.

Goodluck. Dont forget make a schedule on paper and stick to it!

Here are some things you can do:

1. excersise with a friend. then when you want to give up, your friend will keep you going.

2. have music with you, it keeps you motivated. plus you pay more attention to the music then you working out.

3. when you work out and u want 2 give up, take out an outift or shirt or a pants you want to wear. when you look at it and think how good you will in it but if you do not excerises then you will WANT to excerise to fit in it.

4. think about what could happen if you do not excerise or eat right. you could get diabeties, heart disease, cancer, etc...

just do those and think aabout those and you will stay motivated!!! hope i helped,

xoxo

THE 7 LBS WAS! :) I am still going and I will do it! You can email me...we can be each other's support! :)

One thing that will help you lose weight: diet pills. I was one of those who did not believe in them until I tried it. And I tried a few. The best product I found on the market is made with pure hoodia and it works great! You can go to
http://www.think-fit and order you free trial, also you only pay 4.95$ shipping and handling. Good luck!

DOn't hurt! If you're sure you will be sore- take one ibuprophen (anti-inflammatory) before you work out...drink a glass of water. Get your shoes on. Tell yourself you really aren't going to work out, you are just going to stand there and watch the video. Then, once it's on, you'll want to. Then convince yourself you won't do it again the next day, but then do. Rebel against yourself.

There is no easy way to get in shape. Make a decision about what is most important to you. The consequences are all yours.

I don't exercise when it's hot either and I love to walk. Find something that doesn't make you sweat; yoga for instance. Find something you like and be consistent. consistency is the most important thing.

I like to set goals. Like if you want to jog, try timing yourself then trying to beat that time the next day. If you do beat it, reward yourself like with anything you like. For me I reward myself with internet time.

Me personally I like to listen to Techno music, it's the perfect "pump you up" music.

I beleive Elle Woods (Legally Blonde) said it best:

"Excersizing creates endorphines, enphorphines make you happy, and happy people don't kill their husband."

Cheers
