Who is god is a good question and something that can not be answered by others , it requires deep study , pray and a genuine interest to find out , basically it's a personal question.
The bible explains god but is up to you to find out if you really want to know.
As for colour the bible doesn't explain that and personally i can't imagine it makes any difference.
If you believe the bible is the word of god then it constantly refers to him as the father so i guess god wants to portray a fatherly figure but again i find it of no consequence as the important thing is the message

"light without shadow" white?

1John 1:5 Here is the message we have heard from him and announce to you. God is light. There is no darkness in him at all.
6 Suppose we say that we share life with God but still walk in the darkness. Then we are lying. We are not living by the truth. 7 But suppose we walk in the light, just as he is in the light. Then we share life with one another. And the blood of Jesus, his Son, makes us pure from all sin.

I could make a strong technical case that God is ASEXUAL. Yes, masculine words are commonly used, but consider also: Matthew 23:37 “Jerusalem! Jerusalem! You kill the prophets and throw stones in order to kill those who are sent to you. Many times I have wanted to gather your people together. I have wanted to be like a hen who gathers her chicks under her wings. But you would not let me!

God does not reproduce, so no gender terms strictly apply to God.

God is not a she. It clearly states in the Bible that God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Three distinct beings yet one God.
