Well, my family and I started a Bible Study and now my fiance is in on this Bible Study with us. We are doing a Bible study called Christian Life 101, it's a guide to the discussion of the basic teachings of Jesus Christ. What this is about is truly a guide to help you walk with Jesus Christ from the beginning. For example, the first lesson is The Christian Birth and what that is, is to be able to understand and articulate conceptually the birth into God's Family and it explains what the term being born in a physical sense and spiritual sense. And the second lesson teaches you how to be born into God's family and so forth. If you'd like, each week I can send you a copy of each lesson for you and your boyfriend to go over for the week. My family and I usually schedule a Bible study once a week to help us through the week. For example, we have our Bible Study every Friday so whenever you and your boyfriend can have alone time, you guys can schedule your Bible Study. If you have any questions about it, you can email me and ask. I'll do my best to explain each lesson the best I can. Hope I can be of assistance and God Bless.

I bought the Bible on DVD and I have a good time having Bible studies with my family. You follow the professional reader on your TV screen. This DVD contains the whole Bible. We have homework assignments afterward, mainly vocabulary to better understand what we read. We recently started at Genesis, now we are currently reading Numbers.

There are several issues to discuss having to do with Paul vs. James. That is the fact that James was a legalist. ( Acts 15; Acts 21)

But also movies can be used to discuss Biblical things. The Gospel of John, Luther, Saved.

I use to enjoy closing my eyes and open the bible , pointing to a page and spot on the page. Then read the scripture and then try to explain the meaning of it. I found it to be a fun challenge but very hard sometimes

Simple not being a smart one but the best thing to do is pray and ask God what he wants you to study on this is for getting closer to him so why not ask him what to study his word does say to study and show thyself approved.

Read the bible itself and pray before each session that God, in the name of Jesus, will give you wisdom to understand what you read. You will be amazed at the results.

Christopher Hitchens has a really good book about God that would compliment the Bible quite nicely. =)
