Of course you can't kill God. Jesus was not God. He was a man annointed by God. That's where His name comes from. Christ means Annointed. I don't believe in the trinity doctrine either. It is totaly man made. Jesus didn't teach it. The apostles didn't teach it. Nobody in the early church taught it. It wasn't taught for a few hundred years after Christ. It's the biggest hoax of all time.

Ok, I will try to make it a little more clear.... Thru the Bible God is more and more revealed to mankind, by his name.... You can do an indebt study on that at a later time if you like..... but, as for the trinity, there are verses through the bible that hint of or mention , not in word (trinity) but by discription..... such as, Genesis 1:26, and God said, Let US make man in OUR image...... (read when you can in full )......and then there is Isaiah 9:6, For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the goverment shall be upon his shoulder; and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace...... Now that just about clears it all up, this should also be read when you get the time...... I can not explain it in words like painting a picture, but this is where FAITH comes in.... and as for killing him ?? Jesus came to fulfill the law, to be the LAST sacrifice for atonement, BUT, the Jewish ppl refused to see and know him for who and what he was, they thought Jesus calling himself the Savior was the biggest form of blasphemy !!! and another point that most leave out is the Pharasies, the head Jews, they did NOT want anyone usurping their athority in the Jewish religion and taking away from the power they *thought* they had over the ppl......... so they lied about a few things and Jesus was hung on the cross, the most humiliating form of death there was !!!!!!!! and people could only kill him because he willingly gave his life, and he was God in flesh, but he NEVER used his divine nature to over rule what was ordained by the Father...... Jesus, being God and man, was the ONLY sacrifice that was pure enough to pay for our sins and reconcile us back to the Father.....the Holy Spirit is the form of God that takes up residence in us WHEN we become TRUE believers...... hope this helps some...... God bless

The trinity symbolizes an integrated psychological state. Most Christians just repeat what they've heard in church and it has no spiritual meaning to them.

Isn't religion grand?

The Romans and Jews are considered responsible for the crucifixion of Jesus, but when he "rose from the dead" there was suddenly the basis for a the new religion.

As far as Jesus being worshipped as the son of God and treated by Christians as though he IS God. It's just a BIG misunderstanding.

Jesus' message is about transcending the ego identity and
returning to the authentic (Christ/annointed) Self. Every religion has this as its core but it always gets "lost in the shuffle" over the centuries.

Jesus Christ did not die as spiritual God but died as mankind when he become man to save the sinners of their sins and you are not included to have been saved because you were not yet born at that time. You were just born yesterday. You read and read the bible and study your bible very well so that you will not be called ignorant on the teachings of the bible.

For your information their is no such trinity in the bible. It is not called t rinity. The catholics called it trinity but it is not biblical so that it is falls and not true.

In those three entities, which is God, the Father, , God the Son ,Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit of God are all Gods who are of different intities. The Holy spirit of God is within the believers of God while God, the Father and God the Son are in Heaven watching each and everyone of us.

Ok. I'm not exactly sure what you are asking. Your question could mean:

1. How could God be killed if he was God?
or
2. Why would people kill their God?

So here are my ideas for both questions:

1. the human form of God was killed (but then he was resurrected--because he is God), and he allowed himself to be killed so that his death would pay for all of humanity's sin, so that he could once again have a relationship with humans again (like it was before they initially sinned in the Garden of Eden). God could not be near to them because he is holy/pure/perfect and sin cannot be in his presence). So God let it happen. At any time he could've saved himself and slaughtered his killers if he wanted to, but he didn't.

2. The only way they could kill their God is if they were unaware that he was their God. Otherwise they wouldn't have dared. At that time most people who read the religious scriptures thought that the "Messiah"/ Savior that the scriptures prophesied about was going to come and build his kingdom politically (through a war, or political revolution or what not). According to the Bible, Jesus didn't come to make a earthly kingdom, but a "spiritual" one.
Many Christians also believe that Jesus will come back someday to rule over all the earth as well.

Also, the religious people at that time took it as the ultimate crime that somebody would claim to be "God" in person, or to be equal with God. That's really what got him killed. He also criticized the "religiousity" of the religious leaders of that time, so they didn't like him for that, too. Basically, they thought he was a religious teacher that overstepped his boundaries big-time.

Well, the Bible says God sent His son as a sacrifice for mankind, so it's not as though God didn't know it was coming, I guess. And, technically, the Romans who crucified Jesus didn't think he was the son of God, so he wasn't necessarily "their God." They didn't say, "Oh, there's God, let's get Him," they said, "He's an imposter who threatens our regime and needs to go."

If Jesus came down today, I dare say we wouldn't kill him, although he might languish in Guantanamo Bay for a bit.

Jesus isn't "a god," he is a form of God, if you will. Like a lot of the Bible, the message is more important than the semantics. I wouldn't go nuts over this.

God blinded their hearts and closed their eyes so they would not see that He was God. Jesus dying on the cross was part of God's plan before the creation of the world. Jesus knew that God being holy and just that sin had to be punished. God Himself, through Jesus Christ, took this punishment on Himself so you would not have to, and even though you sinned God loved you enough to take the pain for your wrongs, so you could be His forever. God could not stand to see you die in your sins, so that is why He took the punishment for you. However, after He died, He defeated death and hell by rising from the grave, where He sits at the right hand of the Father interceding for the sinners who call on His name to be saved. God wants you to be His, He wants to forgive and wash away your sins, all you have to do is believe that God did all this for you through Jesus Christ and accept Him into your heart as your Lord and savior, turning from your sin and living your life for God by the power of the Holy Spirit and the grace of Jesus Christ. Peace be with you.

Because He allowed it to be so, for mankind's salvation. God can do anything and so humankind should trust that He, the creator, knows what to do to save and has the ability to save His creations. God had to humble Himself... unto a human death, to become the righteousness required for our sake. If God didn't humble Himself as far as deitily and humanly possible by submitting to all authorities and powers under heaven, then mankind could not be saved and reunited with God. Mankind would also not see how righteous and important being humble is to partake in divinity... Without great humbleness, there is no divinity and so called righteousness would be as "filthy rags"...

Jesus is Gods son; He is God In human form. God sent his only begotten son [Jesus] to Earth to have him crucified to "undamn" mankind. This is why we are forgiven of all sins. But at the time Jesus was killed noone beleived this. Jesus in not "a" God..There Is only 1 God

To those who killed him, they didn't believe he was their god... They didn't believe that God and Jesus were one in the same... It's all a matter of perspective, from our perspective, they're killing their own god, but from theirs', they're just killing a guy who is walking around and teaching people...

But remember, the important thing about religion, is to not let people tell you what to believe... You have to choose what you really feel is the truth... I've grown up catholic in a modern world, and the world of mathematics and science makes sense to me, so I believe in evolution which completely contradicts christianity...
