"I'm no girly man's" espousal of the worship of Crom is starting to become very attractive to me---of course, he himself is attractive, so that might account for me being drawn to it. Am I too much of a girly man to make a good follower of Crom?

You can pray to Crom, but he doesn't listen.
But he is strong! If you die, you will have to go before him, and he will ask you, "What is the riddle of steel?" If you don't know it, he will cast you out of Valhalla and laugh at you. That's Crom, strong on his mountain!

Although Crom will NOT accept one drop of 'girly' in any of his male followers,...
... one can get rid of any of their 'girly' qualities by simply spending about a decade chained to the Wheel of Pain,
followed by a few years trying to survive brutal Pit Fights.
Really, it's not as bad as it sounds...;-)

I think you can't be a true follower of Crom until you kill a few people in brutal ways.

One of the first immortals on earth, he had great strength, endurance and cosmic awareness. As a self-professed "girly man", Crom would be a great choice of a god to align yourself with on issues where you need strength to fight for your cause!-----Blessings!
