Are Atheists more intelligent than Christians?
Yes.

Anyone who seriously believes there's an Atheists watching everything they do, think and say 24/7 has an excuse to be paranoid - one wonders if Xians weren't a little touched by madness in the first place to allow themselves to become enslaved by the InvisibleSkyPixie cult and its Dogma of RewardPunishment with an InvisibleSkyPixie reputedly saying: Y'all had better SUCK up to me or I'll sent you to hell for eternity.

Do I think I'm so smart because I'm an Atheist?
No, I'm an Atheist because I'm so smart.

I really think the level of intelligence is much the same but the atheist has freed the mind to think beyond what ancients have demanded with the confusion of the past and it's exploitations .

there are intelligent Christians, but since Christianity in general (yes, I am making a broad generalization that does not apply to all) is about accepting existing answers rather than seeking new questions, Christians tend to be limiting themselves in terms of developing and innovating.

So frankly, many of their answers come across as backward, old-fashioned, uneducated and yes, even completely daft (again, not all of them), and either not well thought out, or at best a jargoned-up version of one of those previous categories.

Atheists by definition place more emphasis on logic and reason, but some of them, too, settle for a slate of answers and develop no further; they at least have a richer vein of thought and analysis to ditto from.

nicely, there is somewhat some "Christian" weirdos around right here. For the main section, i do no longer think of Christians are undesirable people however. yet they do relatively have a element the place they are going to end being wonderful, and initiate with the call calling. It many times happens while they understand that good judgment can decimate their ideals, and that they are on the verge of having to admit it. a number of them merely buckle swifter than others.

Studies say yes. More intelligence less religiosity. But that means any religion. Individually it would be dependant on the two people.

Not necessarily.

Some Christians try to pick arguments in fields they don't understand, such as evolutionary biology, which can make them look foolish.

Arguably, atheists sometimes make the same mistake.

If I were to respond with my IQ and education, you wouldn't believe me because on the internet, anyone can pose about anything.

Consider this, however. Who instituted higher learning on the American continent first? Churches.

Many intelligent people (even scientists) have come to faith in Christ, because it is a reasonable (not blind) faith; backed up by a credible body of evidence.

Well, in all truthfullness... statistically yes. Atheists tend to be very well educated so in the sense of literal smarts (not street smarts) then yes they are.

Religion has always been promonent in uneducated areas (and throughout history has been a means of control to demote the need for education) but this does not mean that there are no smart christians or dumb atheists... not by any stretch of the imagination.

Another contributing factor is the idea behind both groups. Atheists analyze and evaluate their surroundings largely in pursuit of knowledge while religion often times chastizes evaluation. Therefore you have atheists who are better equipped to argue as they have analyzed every angle, and put themselves in the place of theists with the result of anticipating arguements. Theists tend to be banned from such activities as they are "sins" or "transgressions" therefore they are unable to argue efficiently without "knowing their enemy".

How intelligent or well spoken someone is doesn't depend on a religious belief of any kind. These things depend on the person----Blessings!
