Kinda sorta but not really. As the end-times draw near and especially during the Tribulation Period after Christ has taken His Church away, Satan and all of his minions will work feverishly to turn as many people as possible away from Christ. They will do it by deception, torture, imprisonment, and death. The closer it gets to the time Christ finally returns to defeat Satan for good, the more extreme the world will get.
Many of these events are documented in the Books of Revelations, Daniel and elsewhere.

Without a doubt! And if this is true, the good news is that in the last days, there will be an out pouring of the Spirit that the world has never seen before!

Many dates have passed where people "predicted" end times because of increased poverty, war, hate, etc. but they did not come.
Now people's new favorite date is 2012, but will it end at that time??
Only God knows...

i would say yes.just read what jesus said.there are more martyars now than at any time in history.jesus said in the last days good will become evil and evil will become good.this is true.but the end times in the lords eyes can be a LONG TIME in ours.

I think it is. We Christians have been a persecuted bunch ever since the Lord began his ministry.
The problem is, what's happening here in America. We've let the pagans, and the communists, and the catholics and the muslims into our land, and into our schools, military, judicial system, government, and what we have is degenerating chaos. The news mafia makes them look good and us look bad.

the christians got it backwards.... it is in so far that the veil of deceit has been lifted from humanity.... the christians are the ones holding onto the lies.... end times doesn't mean the end of the world only the end of the catholic/christian monopoly of the spiritual information.... and thus the end of their religions...

no.
there are no 'end times.'
the angst is a reaction against Christian interference into secular matters. The past 1,700 years is proof that Christianity has no place in governance.
