The backpack has to be from jansport. i was wondering if a big student is good enough for an eighth grader.

Yea the big student should be great! Just make sure whoever will be using it thinks it is comfortable. Also, make sure it has enough support on their back, and that the bottom of it doesn't go lower than their lower bottom. Good luck!

I'd say it'd be fine. You need a good solid backpack that will last so I'd try Jansport. It shouldn't have to be too big yet, because you aren't in high school and don't have to carry as many books, but still, you need some room. Just carry a backpack that you think will suit your individual needs, and just pick one you like

I don't know if Jansport makes rolling or sling style backpacks, but eight graders tend to get a lot of large size textbooks. So, you may not want to get the standard style. This may do damage to your back or shoulder.

Jansports are the best my first one was in eight grade and they have the best colors and designs

ok look. if u dont want to worry about your backback, just buy the regular jansports. buy the regular size, not the small one (unless ur a girl) or the big one. buy one that is a solid color. seriously everyone uses them. and they last pretty cool.

you'll want a messenger bag....one for a days and one for b days (if youre on that type of schedule) it will be SO much easier to carry rather than the shoulder backpacks which (with as much weight as you'll be carrying) can really strain your back...messenger bags distribute the weight better :D have fun in the eighth grade

LLBean has the best...lastest one is going on 7 years...thru high school and to senior year of college...washes better than jansport...we have had both!

Problably any more then that and the weight of all the books is gonna knock him over. Heft the blooming thing with books in it. yikes!
