There are double standards against woman, but it seems like many are aimed at men.

I very much agree with what was said in the article... It falls on the problem of women and men... neither stand up for what they deserve and it causes these kinds of problems because to allot of people it is far better to just have someone then to be alone... Its ugliness and desperation on both men and women... people should learn to realize that we don't really need another as long as we always have ourselves and the everything we need and want is within us to be happy for this lifetime... Self love is the answer to all problems but people tend to not look at that thinking they have to have someone else in order to be complete... very not true...

Double Standards are two ways really---
Men who want you to only belong to them...
And then they sleep around.
Men who don't let women shop for woman's stuff...
But Men want to buy all the toys and tools they want ...and with receiving no complaints from us.
Men who receive more pay then their women counterparts for equal work.
Need I go on???

Those things listed could be double standards or true. Depends. If men could get away with it, they'd be hypocrites too.

because women are crazy and want their men to be perfect, but dont want to do anything for to make themselves perfect.
