“The Witnesses have no time for the Christian churches. Russell said that in 1878 God had rejected all existing churches and made the Russellites the only spokesmen thenceforward. Rutherford went further. He did not like to admit that the churches were all right till Russell came on the scene. After Christ’s Resurrection, he said, the devil built up a great empire, the papacy. Later, he inspired the creation of the Protestant churches. So, all Catholic priests and Protestant clergymen are of the devil, enemies of God, Antichrist. The Witnesses deny that they are a church or a denomination. There is no justification, they say, in the Bible for a church or a hierarchy.”

Yes it was true , but you will continue to get the "new Light " answer until it blinds you......

I did my first deprogramming with a book called "kingdom of the Cults" by Dr. Walter Martin...awesome book...

next i read "crisis of conscience" Also an awesome book by a man who gained admission to the executive circles of the WBTS and found them to be corrupt....When he pointed out that they were breaking Gods laws that others would be disfellowshipped for, they disfellowshipped him......

Then I listened to a man who dos great Christian apologetics on the radio....Hank Hennagrath....CRI You can find his material on htp://equip.org

NOW I go to church spread the gospel daily, and read my bible...I am more filled with contentment as a christian than when I was a follower of the empty critical WBTS company

Both Russel and Rutherford believed and said things which were untactful and mistaken. They have been dead for many decades now, and so to some extent, only time will tell which were which.

Jehovah's Witnesses believe that their worship is a restoration of biblical Christianity, as practiced by the apostles and first century Christians. They recognize Christ himself (and the apostles to a much lesser extent) as the "foundation" of true Christian worship. Of course, the bible teaches that God Himself is the "builder".

(Isaiah 28:16) Sovereign Lord Jehovah has said: “Here I am laying as a foundation in Zion a stone, a tried stone, the precious corner of a sure foundation.

(Acts 4:10-11) Jesus Christ the Nazarene... This is ‘the stone that was treated by you builders as of no account that has become the head of the corner.’

(Revelation 21:14) The wall of the city also had twelve foundation stones, and on them the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

(Hebrews 11:10) the city having real foundations, the builder and maker of which city is God.

In modern times, Jehovah's Witnesses have always acknowledged that Charles Russell had a central role in re-establishing true Christianity in the 1870's, and Joseph Rutherford worked to refine and organize. Yet Witnesses have never pretended to be followers of Russell or Rutherford any more than they pretended to be followers of Paul or Apollos or Cephas or of ANYONE but Christ Jesus. When seven million Jehovah's Witnesses preach from door to door each month, they work to preach the "good news about the Christ".

(1 Corinthians 1:12-17) What I mean is this, that each one of you says: “I belong to Paul,” “But I to Apollos,” “But I to Cephas,” ...Paul was not impaled for you, was he? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul? ...Christ dispatched me, not to go baptizing, but to go declaring the good news

Why aren´t you doing what Jesus command his followers? Matthew 24:14? are you preaching that?

Cause you are not doing the false witnesses have to do .

What will Jesus do during his 1000 year kingdom? Jehovah ´s witness preach that Jesus after Armageddon and destruction of evildoers, Satan and his demons will be "Jailed" for 1000 years in the mean time Jesus will rule the earth with a group redeemed from earth (Revelation 5:10, 14:1-5) will resurrect people (Acts 24:15 and John 5:28-29) will provide food and eliminate famines (Psalm 72:16) will restore the health of humans (Isaiah 35:5-6, 33:24) will eliminate the death and the cause of the death and suffering (Revelation 21:4) in resumen will transform the earth in a great place to live a "new earth" the original purpose of God with Adam and Eve before they sinned (Genesis 1:28) .
After 1000 years , Satan will be release and mankind will have a second test and after that Satan will be cast into the lake of fire (destroyed) and Jesus give the kingdom to his father (Jehovah) (1 Corithians 15:28)
