I'm sure he was pressured into including that there. My guess is the university and his colleagues wouldn't want their reputation to be tarnished.
why did Gorgeous Vile Temptress3 get a thumbs down? We both came up with the same answer at the same exact time.

The man wrote an entire book about "irreducible complexity," yet all 6 of his examples had been explained by evolution before he even wrote the book. Wouldn't you strongly disagree with a colleague who doesn't even visit his university library before writing a paper?
Judge John Jones, a conservative Republican, devout Christian, and ID believer, nominated by George W--who nonetheless knows what the 1st Amendment says--described the Dover, PA school board's decision as "breathtaking inanity." Behe evidently "strongly disagrees."

1. Many of those "scientists" are not scientists.
2. Many of the real scientists are not biologists.
3. The signers didn't necessarily realize that they were signing ID/Creationist propaganda. The statement did not ask if the scientist rejected evolution; it asked if s/he was *skeptical* about evolution. *Any* scientist could answer "yes" to that, because that's the way science works. At least one of the signers, probably more, believe that they were deceived.
4. Check out Project Steve. More than 800 scientists who support evolution. And those are just the ones named "Steve."
5. Science is not determined by vote. It's determined by the evidence (which your apologist source likely told you doesn't exist, but it does).
6. Unless and until King Solomon coughs up some evidence, Proverbs is utterly, utterly irrelevant to the issue.

Michael Behe appears to be irriductibly loopy. His more sensible colleagues would seem to agree with this diagnosis.

Perhaps all his colleagues are stupid. For whatever reason they obviously have not joined the over 700 intelligent scientists who have deemed evolution a totally absurd hypothesis with no substantial ground to stand on. Amazing enough a large number of doctors in excess of 500 have also come to this conclusion and they have all stated that creation is a more rational possibility. This group is growing quickly and it is shaking up the evolutionary and scientific community.
Perhaps you cut up that portion of the news because it doesn't please you or substantiate your prejudice against God.
When will you people ever get it? Everyone who follows this evolutionary and psuedo scientific drivel should read Proverbs 1:20-33 - it is all about you!

Well I mean what does the guy expect? Nobody in the Scientific Community takes these guys seriously. My dad is a devout Christian and a Biologist and even he can't deny evolution, He says he believes in Theistic Evolution. But come on...if anyone really really really tries hard enough and searching from a non bias point of view they will all realize that evolution is fact.

I have no problem with the disclaimer. All it takes is one to discover the truth for it to be taught so all can be enlightened.
