I've been to a wedding where they used Justin Timberlake-Sexy Back. Was looking for a fun upbeat song.

since my fiancee and I are italian, as a joke, we're going to walk in to the theme song of the godfather. I think the entrance should be something that reflects you and your fiancee. if your more traditional, you can walk into the beginning chords of your first song and then dance, or if you want to do something funny, you can walk in with some sort of theme music int he background, like lord of the rings, or the godfather, or even star wars, be creative, thats the big moment when ALL eyes are on you so have fun with it! and good luck!

I think an upbeat song is a great idea. Here are some suggestions:
Hot in Herre - Nelly
Get The Party Started - Pink
Cha Cha Slide - Mr. C Slideman
Sandstorm - Darude
Love Shack - B52s
Play That Funky Music - Wild Cherry
Lets Get It Started - Black Eyed Peas

First of all, if you play entire songs, that would be the longest introduction ever! Why do you need separate songs for everyone? Why not pick something suitable for everyone? If introductions take too long your guests will become bored with it very quickly. Choose one song and keep introductions quick! Here's a few good ones. "It's a Beautiful Day" by U2 "I Want to Grow Old With You" by Adam Sandler "Always and Forever" by Heatwave "My First My Last My Everything" by Barry White "Get The Party Started" by Pink (edited version)

It's not totally upbeat, but there is a very old song by the Carpenters called, "We've only just begun." It's great for the beginning theme to a new life together.

Think of your favorite movie soundtrack. The earlier answerer who said "Theme from The Godfather" has the right idea. A friend of mine made her entrance with "Padame's Theme" from Star Wars.

I personally like big band music and jazz, so Harry Connick Jr. or Frank Sinatra (along those lines) would be something I would pick from.

If one or both of you is a sports fan, consider using the fight song from your favorite team (professional or college). By nature, they're upbeat and designed to get a crowd going.

We are using a recording of a well-known song played by the marching band of the groom's favorite college team.

Keep in mind that whatever song you choose a. shouldn't offend or scandolize grandma and b. you will probably have to explain it to your grandkids and you probably don't want to tell them you entered to room to a song like "its getting hot in here, take off all your clothes"

We are definitely rock people- so we are walking in to "Today" by the Smashing Pumpkins. It works for us. Just pick whatever song seems special or perfect for you two as a couple
