Hi i am getting married in 2009 and i went on to a web site called youandyourwedding.co.uk. And if you sign in (its free) its got all you need on there to plan a wedding. The best bit is the budget planner it lets you keep track of everything go have a look its great, don't no what i would do with out it.

where you want the wedding, the date- book itthe budget for the place for the reception
see if the reception site ( that is in your budget) is avail - book it
decide on the menu
your dress- according to the style/theme of the wedding
your bridesmaids list of names then dresses
the cake
flowers
Dj or band
photographer
announcements
Tux's
Limo or cars
etc
Relax, It will all fall into place

they are various websites, like confettir, the knot, wedding channel.
Go and visit wedding fayres in your local area, goggle the search engine is good, as well as e-bay, i got loads of my decorations on here and dead cheap.

I used the knot.com it was a sanity saver, and I still have people talking about my wedding Last year, August 5th. and this site reallllly helped me.
