i know exactly how you feel because right now im dating my best best best friend and i have put 100% trust in him just like i bet you have. i have talked to him about this and even if we were to break up he will always be my best friend because he was my best friend way before he was my boyfriend. i just think you need to talk to him about it.

There is a saying that goes "Friendship often ends in love; but love into friendship, never." Basically meaning that yeah you can fall for your best friend, and be together, but it also means that if you break up you won't be able to go back to that. I am not saying that is isn't possible, but there would always be those feeling between you two, to where things wouldn't ever be the same again, i have seen it happen between people. In the end all I am really saying is that it can be possible to be friends when or if you break up, but most likely it wouldn't happen. There would just be too much between you guys for it to be possible.

Dating your friend can be the greatest thing, you already have a solid foundation and know each other pretty well. Chances are if you break up you might lose the friendship, but if you are both willing to work at it, it's always possible to remain friends. I'm friends with several of my exes and even though it's hard sometimes I'm really glad we stayed in touch. Just enjoy your relationship for now and don't worry about breaking up!

Bertha a lot of it depends on how mature you and he handle it. My first wife and I married when we were too young and after we split, until this day, remain very close and good friends. Remember also we can never have too many friends so value your friendship even if you don't make it as a couple.

Don't break up. If you're best friends before and now you're a couple, what more can you possibly want? That's the best situation there is. Get married and break up when you die.

most likely not. but sometimes the friendship comes back after the hurt is gone and the feelings have subsided. good luck! usually the best friend relationships are the ones that last!

Depends on how your relationship ends. if it end on good terms, ya can still be friend. If it ends in a bad term like cheating, the friendship is over. Thats the risk you have to take if you dating your best friend. I wouldnt date my best female friend

Er....it's really hard to maintain the same level of relationship after your break up with your girlfriend if she used to be your best friends. You'll still be friends, of course, but the same level of closeness (as best friends) won't be there.

Depends on who breaks up with who and how the two of you break up. If it's a mutual thing then you'll probably be fine but if it ends in a big fight then probably not.
