...in my dreams the person exists with shape and form, but has no 'real' physical details but they're there....almost like a shadow, but as more than that.

According to Dreamcrowd:

It is very common to dream about all kinds of faces. Strange faces and familiar faces alike are frequent images in our dreams. Interpret your dream by considering the face and the general content of the dream. A stranger's face could represent different parts of your personality or psyche. You think that you are seeing a stranger but in actuality you are seeing a different part of yourself. Jung said that the stranger is a part of you that comes from the unconscious. A comic face may indicate that you have a conscious or unconscious need to mock or snub the conventional. Featureless faces suggest that you may feel unnoticed and unappreciated. On the other hand, some believe that the blank or unclear face represents a teacher. That is someone who is there to show and teach you a lesson but you are unprepared for it and the face is blank. Smiling faces are representative of happy thoughts and feelings and possibly anticipation of a joyful event in the near future. Always remember the compensatory nature of dreams and their ability to point to the opposite of what you experience in daily life.

As much as people try and explain how our brain works, no one can for sure. It is one of the great mysteries still out there. I am of the belief that each generation carries a bit from the last. This compounds on itself and creates tons of memories over the course of history. It explains why people think they were someone in a past life. You are either bringing up past memories or your mind is trying to tell you something. What does this shadow do? Do they tell you anything? Do they do the same thing in every dream or do they show up every so often? I have had dreams of having feelings and being with someone that I never met and these feelings are ones that I have never had in my life except for my dreams. Hope you find the meaning to your search or find the person you are looking for.

Well, the thing is, when it comes to dreams, that just leads into such a large topic.
As you may or may not know, dreams are a tactic our subconcious uses to figure out mental conundrums while our body sleeps. Especially with people who act strong on the outside, but you know they are soft on the inside. Or even when something happens during the day that stresses you emotionally.

Bottom line, in dreams our minds are pretty much unrestricted. They can imagine anything they want. Whatever helps to piece together the mental puzzle. People in our dreams are no acception. You dont know that this person truely exists correct? So you are basically describing them as an indistinct being? Does that make sense?

One thing, there is a myth i have heard, and rather come to believe myself, that our present day beings have some kind of a psychological connection with our past lives. Perhaps you have heard of this very myth? Now, i also have the theory (as others may as well) that these connections are represented most broadly in our dreams. Other ways are said to be deja vu and what not.

Anyway, this "person" just might be a depiction of someone from your past lives. Or even a finished reoccurance of the life you are living now. Now, because the features are rather indistinct, this might mean that your mind is being blocked my issues your subconcious is unable to heal alone. Has something been mentally/emotional distressing you? Maybe there is a burdon on your chest? Perhaps if you were able to lift that burdon, the person would become more clear?

Maybe you could end up recognizing them? Maybe your past is warning you of someone to avoid? Someone who threatens your very life? If something has been bothering you see if you can have something done to lift it off of your mind. That might clear the image and give you more helpful information. Once (if) you can do that, keep an eye out for someone like that. They could be an enemy of sorts. A friend or foe situation it would seem, just be weary and cautious of anyone who could resemble this person.
I mean, maybe they are the thing that ended a past life?

They may even be someone who was of great importance to you? And this may be a sign that they are soon to come upon your life? Something saying that you need to be extra careful not to loose them?

It could mean either one of those things.

anything is possible, your dreaming brain is going nuts, it's electric impulses and memory are operating at once, almost to the point of shortcircuiting. the dreaming brain is a neurolgical amusement park ,its like a psychotic hallucinating, your mind left to its own device is a totally nutty place and anything at all can be imagined in there

targets are frequently in basic terms information discarded by using your recommendations. information that the recommendations exhibits non-considerable. for my section that guy you have been dreaming approximately is fairly somebody you have seen. in step with risk you in no way quite took word in him yet he grew to become into there in the history. It has befell to me that i do no longer understand the guy, yet in actuality I fairly have met them. Take it as, that individual grew to become into in that blurry history of which you paid no interest to on an analogous time as chatting with considered one of your acquaintances. in step with risk sooner or later you will crash into them...and then they are going to enable you already know they have seen you in the previous.

Always remember that your dreams are a product of your own mind.
You are trying to tell yourself something. - Listen.
Ask yourself "How does this dream make me feel? - Why?
