They get mad at me and my mom and whole family who get on her for not listening AT ALL!!!! We don't even want her around for any family gatherings. This is causing a wedge b/w everyone... Amazing isnt it how some people expect others to put up with their demon spawn and refuse to discipline. Personally if it was me id outright tell him and if hes insulted thats his problem. Maybe theyll stay away but the peace and quiet would be worth it.

They don't call them terrible twos for nothing.

She's NOT going to listen, just like you didn't at that age. She sounds bored.

Best thing: get a bucket of toys appropriate for a two year old. Keep her busy and pay attention to her. Praise her when she does good and ignore her when she does something bad. Trust me -she'll start doing good more than bad because kids LOVE praise.

how old is this child? toddler, school age? honestly, if she misbehaved in my house, i'd lay down the law. she may not have rules at home but she sure would here.i wouldn't yell and scream at her, that's not my place but she would be told firmly that this behavior isn't allowed here and if she continued she wouldn't be allowed back. it may p*ss her mom off but what's worse? her being angry or you losing your mind?
