My description is going to be really odd, and I can't really remember much about it, but I was still talking about it for some reason today.

It was basically another kid/early teen game show that may have appeared on nickelodeon or something of the sort. I could of swore it had something like Knight or Warrior in the title.

The final like, prize round of the show involved the winner running through this kind of boxed maze with different hexagonal doors, and it was open in the ceiling, filmed from above...

and I think the last shot involved someone, either some guy in armor, or maybe even a contestant in armor, being turned into this ball of light and flying out of the studio??? Of course it wasn't real, but, it was just something they did.

I know someone else remembers this... I cant for the life of me, but I remember it being pretty sweet when I was little.

Sorry, but you first two are both wrong. I remember Video Power, and know of legends of the hidden temple.

I don't believe it was video game themed..

and the set itself was very Fortress of Solitude... kinda jagged, metallic, smoke machines...

To Huh:

I appreciate the efforts again, but that isn't the right show either. What you're talking about is the final round for Nick Arcade. and though another classic kids game show, not what I'm looking for.

This is really hard and obscure I'm sure. It's out there somewhere :)

Thank you for your efforts

Okay, this one was on Nickelodeon and it's called "The Video Zone" This is part of the description I found online:
(Notice the part about Mongo leaving in a flash of light leaving only his armor behind> I know you said it wasn't a "video" one, but I doubt there's many other shows like that....

"Level 3 (The Wizard Level)
Both players teamed up for the last level, which was a face-off with one of three villains that rotated throughout the show's run: "Merlock", a Gandalf-esque evil wizard that shot lightning balls; "Scorchia," a fireball-throwing sorceress; and "Mongo", a spiked armor-wearing troll who tossed balls of energy. To defeat them, the players had to touch three orbs before time expired, while trying not to come in contact with the Game Wizard, the ghostly creatures flying around the room, or the beams of lightning, fire, or energy (depending on who the Wizard was) that erupted from the ground. If either player touched a spinning hourglass that randomly appeared, the Game Wizard, the creatures, and the beams would become frozen for five seconds, and the players could not be damaged.

Upon their defeat (if the players were successful), depending on who the players faced, Merlock would fizzle into dust, Scorchia's body would disintegrate into ash and blow away, and Mongo would disappear in a flash of light, leaving only his armor behind. Defeating the wizard also caused the message "You did it! You beat the game." to appear on-screen.

In Season 2, the appearances of the wizards' rooms were retooled, but the premise was the same as before."

There was a game show many years ago called Video Village, which went through a maze like that, but it was elevated. I believe it stared Jack Narz.

A show that has "Knight" in it, and a kids game show.

Must be Knightmare, with host Hugo Myatt.

Family Double Dare. They had physical challenges and stuff, and you had to run around.
