Take it back, and maybe they will exchange it.

Hopefully, you still have your receipt. In any case, take it (and the receipt if you have it) back to the same store that you purchased it from and show them the bottle with expired date. Always, always check the expiration dates on products that you buy. I've found some as old as a year beyond their "use" date.

Rule of thumb on foods and drinks: If it looks, smells or "acts" (foamy etc.) funky - it probably is.

Take the bottle back to the store & complain.
If they won't help you, ask to talk to the Pepsi salesman.
He should have removed expired stock from the shelves.
There's always the chance the store bought expired stock.

I am sure it only tasted funny to you after you noticed the expiration date.

Do you realize that in your parents time they did not even have these "expiration dates" and "oh my gosh"! they lived through it .

I have learned to check dates on about EVERYTHING. You would be surprised at how lax stores can be in removing Items that have expired dates.

maybe next time, check the expired date. You'll just have to throw out unless you can mixed drink.

I can top that, we bought a package of cucumbers and when we opened them they were slimy, so I threw them out. A few days later when my boyfriend was taking out the trash he found MAGGOTS in the cucumbers, and he said it was because there must have been eggs laid in them before they were packaged--EW!!!

Whatever you do, DON'T take it back to the store. That's just what they'll be EXPECTING you to do - but you won't give them THAT satisfaction, now will you?
