I want to get rid of my dandruff before I go, because I haven't been able to wash my hair much and it's really bad. Is it okay to wash w/ Selsun Blue when my appointment will be tomorrow or the day after?

yes it is ok but try not to scrub to hard you don't want to give yourself scalp abrasions the perm may even help with the dandruff

I don't think you should use a product that is as strong as Selsum Blue, because it will strip your hair of its natural oils, and that can possibly cause problems will you go to get your perm, so just use something else.

yeah, hun, its perfectly fine. my friend gets her hair permed all the time and if i remember right, i think they wash it before they perm it, or maybe after they put the curlers in, but still my friend still washes her hair every morning even if shes getting a perm that afternoon.
