Sorry Claire but you're wrong. Just as most of the posts on here state that a Puggle (or Yorkie-poo, Labradoodle, etc) is indeed a mutt or mongrel, whatever. In any event, a mutt or mongrel is a dog of "mixed breeds". If anyone purchases a "designer dog" for more than $50 bucks is an idiot. Adopt from the SPCA... there are a ton of Designer Dogs there. (Also some pure breeds but without papers.... same thing as a mutt). Regardless, Puggles are cute!

I don't have a puggle but i do have two full breed pugs. I will never understand how people can take two different breed of dogs and make so much money off of them and they need to do some research on these dogs. I have read many articles that discuss how stupid it was to mix these two breeds because of their health problems.
Yes i agree they are adorable dogs but i will never understand how people can mix two and still call it a full breed and charge people so much for the mutt they have created?????? Can anyone help me with that answer lol

I do not understand what all the rage is about these mixed breed curs, cockapoos, pugles, maltipoo and everything else, this is just a scam for people to sell their mutts for too high a price.
You should never pay more than a hundred to two hundred dollars for a mixed breed in my mind, because they aren't show quality, and they do not better any of the breeds they are part of.
But, some of them are pretty cute, I would never buy a mutt, I would adopt a mutt.

Puggle's are actually more commonly being breed, just like malti-poos, yorkie-poos, etc.
they are very nice dogs, and they are not mutts however they are mixes between purebreed pug's and beagle's (unless it's a rip off, which can be possible)
I know my grandmother has a pekapoo [peekapoo] (pekingese-poodle)
why they mix so many dogs now is because poodles don't shed, the purebreed yorkie, maltese shed
puggles are a mix because they don't have the breathing problems that pugs do, like breathing, heat exhaustion, dehydration etc.
they are all very cute and supposedly called hybrids, but I just think of them as mixes, but they are not constantly breed with random dogs (making mutts) , they are breed under good conditions and very cute smaller dogs

I was looking for a pugle but they were too expensive. My puppy is a Cockapoo! Both are super cute and she's unique too, at least four colors going on. Yay, love puppies!
-Some people that answer just give stupid answers. Same with my dog, she's not purebreed obviously but she's got a stripe of almost black down her spine, silver on the sides, brown and cream on her underside. Never seen another coloring like her. I still really really want a pugle some time, although they can have a lot of health problems so just keep an eye out for infections and what not!

I think that is great that you have you have a very rare colored Pugle. i used to have one and she was not the "rare" kind. but she was great. and I'm ashamed of the people who say Mixed dogs are just Mutts. I just want to say something to them.1 this person is happy that they got a neat dog.2we are Mutts to. we don't have pure American Blood in us we have Chinese, African and even Mexican. so nock it off with the mean Mutt comments. Thanks.
