Well i am 14 and for awhile now i wanted to get a belly piercing..my parents wont let me and i understand why but i really want it. Can you help me convince them to let me get it? and do you think its a good idea?

I don't consider a belly piercing as extreme as a facial one because no one sees it unless you're wearing a swimsuit.
Look up everything you have to do to take care of your piercing so it won't get infected and it will heal right. Let them know you understand the responsibility involved with having a body piercing so they will trust you to take care of it.
My parents let me get mine done when I was 14. You just need to let them know you are educated about it and that you can take care of it while it heals.
::Edit:: I had also quit growing by age 14 so I never had anything stretch out or look funky. I'll be 18 in a month and I still have my piercing.

i would say no. im the same age and this past year i wanted one sooooo bad. i asked my parents about it all the time and of course, they wouldnt let me. but now im actually kind of glad. they get infected really easily. oh and not that this really matters but i heard if you get pregnant that they stretch or something.. idkk. i would at least wait a little while and see if you still want it

id be all for it, but you should seriously wait until you are 16 because it might stretch from you getting taller. besides, if you think about it, do u really need it THAT MUCH? or do u just want to impress people?

It's not a good idea because it can lead to infections and you can get a lot of stress from it

im not sure but im 13 and my dad wants me to get it pierced. i dont really think you can convince them to.

i got mine done when i was 14 just say that u want ur stomach to look hott ina swiming suit

I wouldnt do it if I was you. Your too young. It may look good now but someday when your older it will look nasty and you will want to take it out and then once you take it out you will have nasty scar tissue. Dont do it

i dont think its a good idea! cause i know this girl who got her belly button peirced and she just stretched her arms up and the peircing sliced her stomach.

well, 14 is too younge to get one. why do you want one? uhm wait til your like 16 then try it. it looks dweeby on younge people. :_)

i don't think it's a good idea...if you think a bellybutton ring is going to turn you into britney spears, you're wrong. they look cheap and unflattering (unless you have a flat stomach, and most of us don't!)
