One : Don't miss the boat.
Two : Remember that we are all in the same boat.
Three : Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.
Four : Stay fit When you're 600 years old, someone may ask you to do something really b ig.
Five : Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
Six : Build your future on high ground.
Seven : For safety's sake, travel in pairs.
Eight : Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
Nine : When you're stressed, float a while.
Ten : Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.
Eleven : No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting
What do you think?

are you on my mailing list? I sent this out last week, mostly because we can all learn from it, whether we believe in the
stories in the bible or not.
it would seem that some of the people who answered you post
are so wound up in putting Christians down, that they are not willing to learn anything.

Thanks to the question poster. I liked it, regardless of the negative comments.
This is in addition to your post.
When Noah was building the ark out in the middle of no where, he was ridiculed just as you have for your posted question.
Now, the interesting part of this story is that Noah told them that water was going to come from heaven and flood the earth. They would not believe him because they had never seen rain. So they looked at him as if he was insane.
Yet, when the rain started to fall, and they then became believers, but it was too late. For the ark had already been sealed.
And the same thing will happen today. The ark is already built, but men will refuse to believe until it is too late and they are faced with the judgement of God.
Keep the faith and God bless.

That's so cute! I really like the way you can take that and produce morals from the story of Noah's Ark. That is so awesome. I also like to compare Noah's Ark to getting saved. Like when you step through the door of that ark you are leaving behind the sinful world just like you are leaving behind your sinful self when you get saved and then you are safe from the flood which is like Hell when you get saved and you are ready to begin a new life, with Jesus as your Lord and Savior when you step out of the Ark. Something like that. I like what you wrote though. Have a blessed day!

Yeah, I've seen that before...I love it, esp. #10.
JCS/Moose, not sure who told you that, but actually this is a list of cool tips and sayings (planning ahead, staying fit, etc.) that has been sent to lots of people all over the country via e-mail. I'm surprised you never received it; I thought everyone had seen this by now. It's got nothing to do with fairy tales.

If that wasn't sarcasm, I think you are completely out to lunch.
So you base your life on lies and fairy tales, I mean this ark horsecrap has already been disproven over and over again. How anyone still argues it was a historical event with the dozens of major problems with the story is beyond me.

Aww how cute. I love it when kids post these things. They are cute when they're young and believe in fairy tales.
