Good Question although slightly slanted......
All scripture is inspired....God can get his message ac cross and use anyone he pleases to do so.......
Do I believe that the Protestants have the unerring truth...NO
Do I believe that the Catholics have the absolute unerring truth...NO
But I think both have enough truth to be able for you to get an accurate knowledge of what
God wants you to know...Salvation is through the Holy Spirit.

I agree with you in part. It's when the Catholic church starting persecuting and killing millions of believers who were not Catholics that tainted their denomination. And this is not a blanket condemnation of the Catholic Church for we all know that it just take a few bad leaders, just a few imbecile's at the top that taint the whole church. And that is most unfortunate.
I myself am protestant and have met many Catholics who have Jesus Christ in their lives and are empowered by His Holy Spirit. So I do not condemn them in any way.
But to say these men were Catholic diminishes God's role in the matter. For Protestants believe it was God that allowed those men to make that choice. Therefore it is a divine work of God and not from man. Take care now and God bless you.

All I know is that there is only one name given among men by which we must be saved, and that is the name of Jesus. Not the name of the Pope, or the name of any given protestant leader. Isn't that all that really matters? Let us not argue about what church is the right church, for when we do we are tearing the body of Christ apart. God Bless.
