I have always had my ears pierced at Claire's. I have 5 in one ear and 4 in the other. It has always been a good experience.

honestly, NEITHER!!!!!!!
(at least at the places in my town...)
Walmart has older and more respectable looking women at their jewelry counter, but they most likely DONT have proper traning on how to do it. And, most wal-mart people at the store i live by dont give a s%^$ about anything, so id be concerned about hygenics.
Most of the times, Claire's representatives are supposed to be trained because theyre mass advertized as doing ear peircing. But again, the girls that just work in the store in my town i definetly wouldent trust; they seem unfriendly, sloppy, and allover, SHADY.
If you can, spend a couple of extra bucks to get it done by a peircing place that specializes in *peircings.* Not clashy cheap jewelry or everyday low prices.
In my opinion, i would only trust a place and people that are respected for only peircing and get checked regularily by the health department.

NO! What happens with all of the places that use piercing guns is that they might wipe it quickly with an alcohol swab, but do you know how many dead skin particles from other people's ears have touched that. PLUS, it will hurt a lot less if you go to a place that uses a needle. I don't care what people say, you can get skin diseases with piercing guns.

NEITHER. Piercing with a "piercing gun" causes the skin to push into itself..this is why there is always a little lump where the earring hole is.

If you want to do it right:
Go to a piercing and tattoo parlour. They will do it right and won't leave you with a scar. They are also trained to do piercings, so your body is in good hands.

You never know how clean or safe a mall store is.

Ok, I work for Wal-Mart.... and The person that does the ear piercings, is qualified. If you make a hole in your skin, you must fill out paper work. It is now mandatory, because States are looking at it as surgery. Yes people, it is now labeled as surgery. I Know because I have gotten some piercings done... Ears etc.

I would say neither. But If I had to choose between those 2.. Claire's.
Wayy better then Walmart.
I got mine done at a store where all they had were earrings and it was all calm and quite inside at the mall.
You just have to like walk through the mall there's other reasonable, relaxing, calming places to get your ears pierced.

Without hesitation or any doubt CLAIRE'S by a land slide. Price range is reasonable the environment is clean the staff is educated. Also your given instructions for properly caring for your ears as well as an antiseptic. I think your sold so tomorrow you'll be heading to Claire's.

Neither. Go to a piercing studio and get them done properly.
Neither places have any professional piercers, nor really know what theyre doing, otherwise they wouldnt use a gun.
Do yourself a favour, and go to a studio, not the local supermarket.
Id rather stand in front of the dart board at the local bar than go to either of those places....at least the darts are sharp. (No offense to anyone that has been to either)
Hope you do the right thing

I think you should get it done at Claire's. I did, and it didn't hurt as bad as my first time(I had it done somewhere in the mall, and let the holes grow in cause it hurt to much, and finally did it again last summer). They come out well, and it's rare that you're going to get an ear infection like other places.
