Yes, it's a shallow, but true question. Most of the world is ugly. Did it used to be this way? Why are there pretty much NO beautiful people anywhere? Even all of the girls who are considered, "pretty", are not stunning nor are they beautiful. What about movies stars? A lot of them have beautiful faces just naturally (I've seen them without makeup). Like Penelope Cruz, Denise Richards, Keira Knightley, etc. They are natural beauties. Oh and guys. Theres really no good looking guys in real life that look like Tom Welling or someone like that. Well, very rarely are there. So whats up with that? I know thats REALLY shallow, but I would like to know the answer & see if anyone also notices this.

Without "ugly people", pretty people wouldn't look so good. Thank God for the uglies! Just kidding. Beauty isn't everything. I used to be a knock out. Now I am average looking on a good day. I am happier now than I was then. Really.

Dilly everyone's interpretation of beauty is different. What you find unattractive others may view as very cute and/or pretty. But in reality who really cares about how the shell of a person looks because eventually even the most beautiful amonst us beauty is going to fade. Their internal beauty though will remain with them throughout their lives and that is what should really matter in reality.

You should prehaps groom her and give her some affection. It sounds like she is just doing a load of things an un-trained dog would do. My Labrador is 7 almost 8 and he tries to get in food bins, and he will lie in a muddy puddle then jump on the sofa. Sorry that's off the subject but your disike of this dog worries me. Dogs, if they do know if they are ugly, they don't care. A dog will love anyone, anyone who respects them, feeds them and treats them well. Dogs also don't care on the looks of other dogs. Dogs aren't judgemental. And if everybody had the heart of a dog the world would be a better place.

Wow, that's really interesting...
I work two jobs, and see 1000's of people. Amazingly most of them are beautiful. All in their own unique ways.
You are choosing to see ugliness, when it's just as easy to see beauty all around you. I prefer to choose to see beauty, it makes life so much more enjoyable.

Well it is shallow to ask lol. Maybe you should lower your standards. I mean Rosario Dawson isn't GORGEOUS but ppl look to her as a sex icon. It all depends on how open you are to different ethnicities, looks, builds, etc.

Well, I hate to say it, but most Americans are fat, which really lowers the average attractiveness quotient;
If they were fit & healthy, though, most people would be attractive, at least in their prime. If you don't think so, you have strange standards and most likely are too obsessed with celebrities.
As for attractive men, my boyfriend is gorgeous. ;)
He is European, though.
