Try a Pilates workout, it creates long and lean muscles, and that helps keep you lean. If you want a slim appearance with good muscle tone, that is the best way. I check out a Pilates DVD exercise disc from the Library and make a copy of it.

Sounds like your doing good. But I would suggest more time on the elliptical. Add pushups, pullups, dips, squats and lunges.
Eat more lean protein foods and lower your carb intake. No soda!! More water and green tea. Eat 6 small meals throught the day to keep your metabloism working.
Now for your tummy. Crunches and leg lifts. Start with like 6 sets of each at about 15-20 reps each. You will definately start to feel it burn. Don't be mad if you can't do this from the begining. Start slow and work upto it. You will have killer abs in no time. Maybe not by the start of school, but you'll have great start. By november/december you should be able to look in the mirror and say WOW!!
Most important...don't worry about weight. Think of the inches you lose. Muscle weighs more than fat and as you excercise you build muscsle but burn fat. Hope this helps.

Im going through the same thing here.... Sits ups are by far the best. Side crunches, sit ups with the alternating legs, good ol' crunches, yoga sit ups..all kinds. But to really loose stomache fat and stuff you need to do cardio. you could always dance around to your favorite songs ...or just Go fin a park or a track to run at and take runs...the elipticle machine is a very good start. but try upping your time even . the more the better right? As far as food...apples are very good for you...them and strawberries are "negative calorie foods" wich basiclly means you can eat them and they speed up your matabolism wich enables you to burn more calories. Also bread is bad!! to much starch (aka potatoes and such) and grain (bread...ect.) Makes you puffy becuase it absorbes water inside your body making it puff out and bloat you and also...all the carbs and stuff are rather fattening.
Wel thats all the advice i really have...GOOD LUCK!!xxx

Calorie are the most important thing!! It takes 3500 to lose a lb. so you need to create a calorie deficit to lose weight..if you burn 1500 calories a day, and you exercise enough to burn 500 calories and also eat 500 fewer calories, that will be a deficit of 1,000 calories, you will lose about 2-3 lbs. a week. I would suggest doing some ab work, my favorite are crunches on a balance ball..I also love core pilates classes they work your abs out so good..
You should try to eat low fat protein, fruits and vegetables, fat free dairy, and whole wheat..these all aid in weight loss.
Maybe also try to do a little more cardio, it is best to do at least 30 minutes for weight loss.

first i would up the amount of cardio you do....i would do at least 30 to 45 minutes....20 minutes is just enough to get your heart rate up and going....try to keep it up for longer....also drink lots of water...stay away from soda and juices and anything with a high sugar content (sugar is actually toxic for the body)...that right there will help you drop weight quickly...lower your intake of carbs (breads and pastas)....also combine cardio with strength training....after you do the cardio, do some sit-ups, you need both (cardio and strength training) to get what you want.... i also suggest a book written by Dr. Perricone...you can get it at any book store for i think under $20.... its super good and it works. It's called "Total Body Rejuvination" It even has a plan in there that can help you loose weight through supplements and certain adjustments to your diet really quickly AND safely. so to sum it up...increase cardio, add muscle toning and reduce or eliminate sugar and carbs....Good luck, it sounds your doing pretty good so far.

wow! 2 wks... hmmm...well like u are..or should be lol....excercise daily.
watch your carb intake...stick with fruits, veggies, salads for a meal, GRILLED chicken, lots of water, vitamins...typical stuff...that should really help with the stomach area :}....theres an exercise where u lay on the floor put ur legs @ about a 45 degree angle from the ground...@ the same time lift your head and chest off the ground enough til u feel ur muscles tighten in ur lower and mid abdomen...and just hold that position for as long as u'd like :]
crunches work too lol
good luck!
