From Christian to Atheist to Muslim...

I never actually accepted Christian doctrine. I got in trouble in sunday school for arguing with the teachers about evolution and other things. I gave up religion entirely when I was old enough (around 12) to refuse to go to Church.

After some years, I discovered Islam, and the Qur'an spoke to that little child inside of me who believed in God and loved Jesus (pbuh) but just couldn't accept certain parts of the Bible (original sin, lot and his daughters, salvation thru the blood of christ, etc. etc.).

So it didn't feel like converting at all. It felt like going home. And that's why I particularly like the term "revert".

I was a non-practicing/non-believing Christian, if there is such a thing. I am now Muslim and happy. I converted because I finally found a religion that matched the ideas and beliefs I already had. I found peace and contentment in Islam.

Before I was a Christian. Now, I'm Muslim.

Islam answered the questions Christianity (pastor, deacons, friends) couldn't answer.
