Survival of the fittest. Yes indeed. Unfortunately that is going to apply to the human race also very soon. Except this time it is going to be a selection process.
The same things that are killing the coral (Global Warming), and the Polar Bears, etc, will also keep killing mankind. I say "keep" because we have already been victimized by unusual weather causing a steady stream of floods, droughts, tsunamis, earthquakes, etc. Let's see what fun "evolution" brings this year. And I don't think that mankind will have enough time to "adapt" to the changes either.
1 Cor 3:18, 19 Let no one be seducing himself: If anyone among you thinks he is wise in this system of things, let him become a fool, that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God; for it is written; "He catches the wise in their own cunning."

Well, you all most had it. Lucky for us evolutionists that an important part of the whole theory of evolution is "Extinction". If the Coral had time to adapt to the new conditions, I'm sure it probably would, still the environment is changing too fast for the coral and its genetic pool too keep up. Corals are pretty delicate, a change of a few degrees in the water temperature will get it to stop growing, a few more minor changes and it dies. And the theory of evolution states clearly that when something don't adapt, then it dies.
Yes, it is very sad that human kind lacks wisdom to take care and look after its own planet. If you read Genesis 1:28, you'll see that God gave us total control over the earth (we've been messing up real bad since then), so i don't think we should count on Him to solve this particular problem, its our responsibility to take care of the place we live in, the place God commanded us to look after and dominate! I don't think He will just turn back in His decision to give us administrative control over earth (He wouldn't be God if He did). Still, I often pray for it and i have faith that He listens. Praying alone wont help though, we all have to do our part!

You should know that the rate at which evolution occurs (and thus the ability of a life form to adapt to a changing environment) depends upon several factors. Mostly, it depends on the reproductive rate of the life form and on the frequency of genetic mutations in the life form. Some types of coral reproduce asexually, this lowers the rate of mutation. I'm guessing that coral also grows fairly slowly. And yes, it is sad that people are polluting and causing a lot of beautiful life forms to go extinct. It is also sad that they are so sure that God is going to intervene that they don't even try to rectify their own problems.

Species that do not adapt die off all the time- it's called survival of the fittest. How would this prove your theory that God created it? If God was all-knowing, wouldn't He have seen the environmental change coming and made the coral adaptable to it? By the way, I'm pretty sure the reporter did not say "This disproves evolution."

No, it really does not.
Evolution is a series of "accidents" or "mutations" in adapting to an environment which eventually lead to an intelligent species.
The old "strong survive" idea.
A species has a mutation which allows it to adapt to the changes in environment and better survive. The old dies off and the new mutant continues.
Eventually enough mutations occur that the "mutated" species no longer resembles the original, now dead, species.
This is kind of a "gamble" and the mutation is not set in stone so if the correct mutations do not occur at the correct times the entire species dies away instead of evolving.
Coral is just dying away, just as it should in evolution.
The vast number of mutations necessary to develop an intelligent species, or one capable of destroying it's own environment with technology (depending on your viewpoint), is a huge number of "gambles" one on top of another.
The odds against these gambles occurring in the correct order and at the correct time are so high that if God does not exist the likelihood of intelligent life on other planets is null.

Evolution isn't accomplished by using persons. Selective breeding/darwinism (survival of the fittest) is what drives evolution. persons do each and every now and then have genetic mutations that if constructive, will help insure survival and replica. The trait is then exceeded on. for occasion... think of there is an animal that eats leaves from a undeniable tree. As time is going on those leaf eaters eat each and every of the leaves they are able to realize. because of the fact the available bypass away start to vanish from intake, the shorter ones won't have the skill to eat and could die. The taller ones will proceed to eat and stay to tell the tale. As this occurs they're reproducing with one yet another. over the years the taller one is, the lots greater probably that's to stay to tell the tale longer and reproduce. Tall mom and father make tall offspring etc till lots time has exceeded and additionally you notice there are not from now on short animals in this species. This species is now the fashionable-day giraffe. None of them fairly developed throughout a single existence span. They selectively breed till the species developed as an entire. try to think of of it in a matching way human beings create specific canine breeds. They discover specific canine with a needed trait and breed them and not the others that don't show what they're finding for. proceed this technique over the years and additionally you get some thing like a Teacup Poodle. A Poodle that grew to become into achieved by using breeding the smallest Poodles they could discover till a clean breed grew to become into created.

Both theory's are flawed. And both theories are ignorant of each other. There is obviously with out a doubt evolution with in the race of a spiecies. However the time like you need to allow for the evolution of man is flat out ridiculous, and doesn't match up with the scientists carbon dating.
With that said, no where in the bible does it specify how old the world is, nor does it even elude how long Adam and Eve were present in the world before they decided to pick the fruit.

Where to start. First off, a dying species proves nothing. Over 99% of the species who have ever lived are now completely extinct. Only the strong survive, as the saying goes. Secondly, evolution has had 4 billion years to give us the huge diversity we have now. A sudden increase in ocean temperatures places huge evolutionary pressure on a species to adapt. If it can't adapt (as you would expect in the event of a natural disaster, like a temperature spike), it dies out, like most other plants and animals on Earth.

Hunh? If you ever studied science in college, you should demand your money back.
That news report most certainly SUPPORTS evolution. Adaptation takes many, many generations because of the way Natural Selection works. If the environment changes abruptly, there's not enough time for the coral to adapt, and it's going to die out. Quit parading your ignorance of science as if it's something positive...

Your understanding of evolution is completely flawed.
The offspring of organisms that survive changes in their environments become adapted to their environment through evolution.
The organisms that don't survive die. If enough of them die, then the whole species goes extinct. Extinctions have happened many times before in the history of life - over 99% of the species that have ever existed have gone extinct.
Species can and do go extinct through evolution. Then species which have evolved ecologies interdependent on those species go extinct.
This is definitely not proof that evolution is 'wrong'.
