I have a toy poodle that breed with my toy poodle male 3 times. I let her outside to potty and the dog down the road a miniature schnauzer mated with her twice. She is due in 3wks and the schnauzer was a lot bigger than her. I thought she was going out of heat but I guess I was worng. My male poodle was only 7 months old so he may have been too young. I want to make sure she can pass the pups by herself or if I need to take her to the vet to get a c-section please help. I felt her belly and the puppies feel big but I don't know how big they are or how many. Thanks,
Melissa

Ok here is some more info. She breed with my male toy poodle on june 23,24,25 then she breed with the schnauzer june 30 and july 3.... she wasn't bleeding and wouldn't let my male mate her anymore. I wasn't at home when she was let out to potty. The dog sitter came over and let her out and when she went to let her back in she was tied with the dog down the road both times. My vet said that if the male dogs testi. had dropped that he could mate and they dropped at 4months she was in a fenced in yard and I don't know how that schnauzer got her he was 14lbs and twice her height and she is 6lbs and only 8 inches tall. I know I can feel two pups they are smaller than my hand.

Yes she can definately have a litter with different fathers.
*****Mindy, I certainly hope you are NOT a vet tech (if you are PLEASE go back to school)..because that answer about not having AKC puppies in the future because she had mixes is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!! and there is ABSOLUTELY NO TRUTH to it!!!!! this litter is this litter only it has absolutely nO effect or bearing on any litters in the future********

A female dog can get pregnant by ten male dogs! A litter can have more than one sire. Each time there is a 'tie' between a male and female dog, it's another chance to conceive more puppies.
And another thing, how do you know the dog down the street mated with her twice? Next time that happens, you can always run out there, get the other dog off her and take her in. Just because the two dogs have started 'humping' does not mean your dog is pregnant, there has to be something called a 'tie' for pregnancy. A tie occurs when the male's penis swells inside a female, they look like they are butt to butt and stuck together. So if your dog is in heat and you see another dog messing with her, grab her and take her in before the 'tie' has a chance to happen. Best to just get your dog spayed, though.

Yes.
And for what its worth... if you don't already know the answers to your questions you shouldn't be breeding.
It is possible to spay her now and abort the pups... it may be less risk to the mother since you do not know who the father is or how big the pups may be. Spaying her will cost less than an emergency c-section.
At the very least you should take her in to the vet for an x-ray to determine the size, likely whelping date(determined by calcification of the pups) and number of pups and get the vet's opinion on what you should do.
If your 7 mos old tied her it is likely he is fertile. You will need to DNA the pups to register them.

Of course 2 males can impregnate her.. How is it the dog up the street was allowed to breed her TWICE???? If you think your male was too young, why did you breed them?? You said you allowed them to breed 3 times.. Yet you knew he was young.. Then you put her out 2 ce for a pee and allowed the little sneak up the road to get her...
Good luck.. Put your puppy money to have that whole mess spayed and neutered.

Shame. Anyway yes the puppies can have two different fathers. You should go to the vet and get an xray or an ultrasound to see how many and how big they are at this point. If you need a c section (on ER can cost as much as 1000-2000) please spay her at the same time and if you dont spay her and neuter your male when she weans the pups. Also since she is possibly having schnauzer pups as well remember that if she is AKC her puppies from here on out will be considered mixed breed pups even if they aren't because she had mixed breed pups in the past.

Yes. MANY males can impregnate one female. Several eggs are released and it takes one sperm to fertilize each one.....it doesn't care what male the sperm belonged to.
Next time be more responsible and spay the dog. You have no clue about breeding and therefore should not be doing it.

Yes, females can be impregnated by 2 males. For your dog's safety please have a vet evaluate her before her due date.
Ad stop feeling the belly. You could injure a puppy or the mom!!

Take her to the vet and have an x-rayed or ultrasound done! There is no way for us to tell you what will happen!
