The Answer:
There are 5 things Man shall do in order to continue doing sins without fearing Allah's punishment, as well as escaping it.
If you want to disobey Allah you should:
1) Practice your sins in a place where He can not see you
2) Live on a land/any place which He have not created
3) Eat & Drink from food which He have not created
4) When it is time to die, ask the Angle of Death to wait till you repent.
5) On the Day of Resurrection, ask the Angles of Torture not to take you to Hell.
If you can do that,so you are surely escapable of Allah's punishment.
But if you can not , so HOW DARE YOU DISOBEY HIM !!!!!!!!!!!

I will not use hadith i will use verses from the Holy Quran:
And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. He forgives whomsoever He pleases and punishes whomsoever He pleases, and Allah is Most Forgiving, Merciful.
Verily, Allah accepts the repentance of only those who do evil in ignorance and then repent soon after. These are they to whom Allah turns with mercy; and Allah is All-Knowing, Wise.
But they who repent and amend and openly declare the truth, it is these to whom I turn with forgiveness, and I am Oft-Returning with compassion and Merciful.
There is no acceptance of repentance for those who continue to do evil until, when death faces one of them, he says, 'I do indeed repent now'; nor for those who die disbelievers. It is these for whom We have prepared a painful punishment.
Know they not that Allah knows their hidden thoughts as well as their secret counsels and that Allah knows full well all unseen things?
Holy Quran
The prophet of Allah said:
A man giving in alms one piece of silver in his lifetime is better for him than giving one hundred when about to die.

I don't think it is so much about the courage but rather of being able to see the truth. Things happen and if we have our eyes open we will learn. Even in the worst situationis we still receive something valuable. What most of us do very often is focus on what happened to us rather on what we got out of a situation. When you do that you can never really be happy, and you will always blame life or others for the bad things that happen to you. If you see it from another perspective, from the perspective of what you've learned, then this should make you happy for you know something you did not know before and which will help you develop yourself more properly. I think that if you always blame situations or other people you just don't really know yourself and your potentials. And in this life we live in if you don't know yourself then you know nothing =P It should not be a matter of choice as you put it but rather a matter of being able to see the truth. I suppose if you do that then you are automatically courageous.

Man must develop Saboor (Inner Patience), Shukoor (Contentment), Tawakkal (Absolute Trust, handing over the entire responsibility to God), Alhamdulillah ( All praise is due to God), and imbibe this within the inner heart!
If man does this, what comes forth is known as an "Insan Kamil" (A True Human Being). This is the true birthright of man! This is the true nature of man!
Man must surrender this inner heart to God and radiate the qualities of God.
This person will be a light for all brothers and sisters.
Giving everything and taking nothing. Being Selfless.
Everything that glitters is not gold. Everything that is edible is not food.
May all brothers and sisters strive for unity with Allah (God)!

1- Pilgrimage if possible
2- To do everything that God loves and correct the mistakes as possible specially if there are others involved. Give the rights back or help people you abused.
3- All the time ask God's mercy and forgiveness.

Your question is designed to tempt both Muslims and Christians into sinful thinking. You need to remove that huge beam in your heart.
You should remove this line of questioning from your thoughts. You need purification after this.
God Bless!

thanks for your question. in surat AL TAWBA, we read that God shows the right path, AL HIDAYA , to everyone except AL ZALEMEEN, AL KAFEREEN, AL MUNAFIQEEN. AL ZALEMEEN are warned over and over again because when we do unjustice to someone, we are harming ourselves and others, it's a double sin. the other sins are PASSIVE, ie., we harm ourselves when we commit them. now if someone wants to be accepted by GOD , he/she should know his sin/s and ask for God's forgiveness, pray two rak3aa, and promise God not to do it/them again. if he sins again, he has to repeat the same procedure. another thing to do, he can go on Omra to be cleansed. he must go on Pilgrimage if he can afford it. this would cleanse him and he would become like the day he was born. moreover, he must repeat ZIKR ALLAH by repeating whenever possible, subhhan alah, la ilaha ila alah, la hhawala wala quwata illa bilah, alah wi akbar, al hamdu lelah. may God bless you for asking this vital question. by the way, al zkr has 5 units, therefore , some superstitious people repeat the number 5 in front of others to save something or someone from the eyes of others. this is wrong, all we have to say is from surat al baqara : ma shaa alah wala hhawala wal quwata ila billah. this shows faith in God as the source of everything we value in life. gazak allh kharan.

Repent right before you die?
Second Guess:
Die for the faith like if you were killed for worhsipping.
Third Guess:
Convert to Islam in your later years and leave that life of sin behind you.
