According to the Bible, from the time of Adam until today, approximately 6,000 years have transpired. This fact is not in question by any who believe that the Bible is the Word of God. That being said, servants of God said in so many words and gave this clue about God's plan, that 1,000 years is like a day, and a day is like a thousand years to God. Furthermore, the letter to the Hebrews points out that God is not finished with His work on the Creation, but will be through after 6 days or, according to the clue found in the Bible, 6,000 years. Since 6,000 years is almost up, we are apporaching the time of the end.
You are correct that the end times are soon, and I believe that the return of Jesus Christ is coming soon, within our lifetime.
God gave mankind plenty of warning about the generation we all are living in. The Earth's time, and mankind's, is just about up.
Where will you be on the seventh day, the true sabbath?

I think He is already here and walking among us.
If you think the end times are soon, then for you, my friend, they will be soon. I have quoted this often, but stand by what it says:
Manmade Armageddon reigns for many in the northern plains;
Eastern, western, southern, too -- does Armageddon reign in you?
A choice we have to feed this fear
Or let it go without a care
For Armageddon is inside the mind --
Where thought and feeling bind.
Choose to think and feel this fate
And you will open Hell's dark gate
Choose to feel more humble thoughts
And Hell's dark gate you'll never cross.
Instead of everyone feeding into this darkness called Armageddon, if you are truly faithful and thus live with no fear, you would embrace the light that is the Rapture and await with eager anticipation that which is to come. That is what you should be thinking about. Not the end times.
If you are truly faithful.

I cannot believe some of the answers that are on this post!!! The Lord is coming back!!! I believe it will be soon, but I cannot give a time frame as I am not a prophet and NO ONE will know until He is here. I do know that He WILL come back in the 'twinkling of an eye' and that he IS MY Savior and I WILL, if I am still here, go with Him!! There are still a LOT of prophecy that has yet to happen........which gives some of you people some time to give your life to God, since He is the one that gave it to you!

I think it'll be in my lifetime. No one knows when for sure, but I would say within 20 years or less. I don't think the end times are soon, I think we are living in it now (the beginning of the end).
It's so sad to see so many people without hope.

I believe that Jesus will return before May 5, 2048. The Bible says that the generation that sees the re-establishment of the state of Israel will see the end-Israel became a nation on May 5, 1948. So, what is a generation? A hundred years.

He will be coming fairly soon, I am guessing. The problem is, the Bible really doesn't elaborate on a specific date, so we have no idea. (For all we know, Jesus may have already come and gone without incident, and we're still waiting for the end!)

Actually this bunch of people in my town seem to meet in a white building once a week for appareantly no reason, BUT they say that Jesus and God are with them there, and that the white building is God's house, so appareantly he must have come already, and his daddy has even bought a house!

probably a thousand years from now. Just like so many people are scared of the world comeing to an end. The world will not come to an end untill jesus comes back (after he leaves again).
