I want only serious answers here. I have had a hard time with my swing. I just started about 2 months ago and have noticed that other women I see playing have smaller chests. That's not the case with me. Any suggestions as to how to overcome this problem. I would love to be able to golf with my husband!!

it doesnt matter that much. just learn how to go with the flow even if your chest is bigger than most.

I started golfing in May, I am quite tall and have a pretty generous chest. I did find my chest size to be more of a problem before I had a better understanding of the correct swing and the correct stance. When I golf I wear a thinner more athletic style bra and if you use the proper stance my chest doesn't get in the way. Your arms should hang kind of straight down and the chest will follow. Find a good female instructor that's what I did! I love playing golf with my husband and he loves it big time!
Good luck.

Soooo? Show them that you can do as well or better the way you are.
If you decided to change your chest size to play golf; which is quite an under taking to get over. You'd have to learn to balance yourself. You'd probably feel weird. Your husband probably wouldn't like it. Then, it would take a while to get good at playing golf. Before you got to this point; you might decide that you don't like golf that much anyway.
Why don't you just go with your husband whenever you want to and have fun. You can learn to play if you want to. You may be really good with a lot of practice with your chest just the way it is. Most little breasted women envy big chested women (no matter what they say). If God gave them to you; don't disappoint him by trying to change his work.

I saw a lady PGA teaching professional address this same issue on the Golf Channel one evening. For a right handed player, at address, the right upper arm rests on top of the right boob and the left upper arm rests alongside/below the left boob. I always recommend lessons for any beginner. There are many female instructors around.

the problem with a large chest is not because it is in the way rather it is a balance issue

in a normal stance they put your weight on your toes so you stand up more to get your weight back and end up with a more upright swing

check out the swings of larger ladies and big bellied men like this one

well Im sure he would love to golf with you too...best thing would be for you to get lessons so you get a solid swing...that applies to all golfers, big or little chested, men or women...that way you have good swing mechanics to go back to (good basics) when your swing goes a little awry (which it will, believe me...does to all of us even if youve been playing a long time and often) I think its great you have an interest in something you and your husband can do together...good luck and have fun!

It doesn't interfere all that much. See if you can find a female golf instructor. She'll probably know how to deal with it.

LPGA players like Cristina Kim do very well. You may consider studing a swing like hers.
