If possible buy some quality wedges which are around 100 and do not buy used wedges if at all possible. Its tempting to buy used if you are watching your budget but since you will use wedges more than most clubs in your bag, except putter, and it is imperitive to get new wedges with fresh grooves. It makes a BIG difference.

With a hybrid go with a good used hybrid at any golf store. Get a name you know. Cobra, Taylormade would be the best for a mid to high handicaper. A quality used hybrid will probably run 60-80.

When purchasing new golf clubs price should not be the main factor. You need to find clubs that work for you and also clubs that help your confidence. I know that if i go and get a new Titleist wedge rather than geting whatever was on sale i will feel that i will knock it stiff because i am using the best, which is one of the main reasons people spend thousands of dollars on rare Scotty Camerons. Most golf stores or clubs will let you demo clubs for free until you can find which clubs work best for your game.

The more you pay the better product you will get when it comes to golf manufacturers.

TaylorMade Rescue are the best hybrids. Titleist Vokey are the best wedges. It's going to be tough to get them at these prices though. Wilson makes decent, inexpensive clubs.
