when it comes to your beliefs (whether you are religious or not) do you think that it is important to think in a literal sense 100% of the time?

or should we think more outside the box...in a more spiritual, complex manner?

if its not a reality in the here and now then there is no point ..

I would say both; the Bible operates both literally and more outside-the-box in the sense that we are to live a Christian life not just on Sundays but everyday.

Build yourself a hodgepodge of beliefs take bits from all types of philosophies and so on

Never be the same always be dynamic dont stick to one if it feels like a duty or if you get disillusioned with it

Well, it all depends on what you believe, but it is good to keep an open mind, and not be narrow minded.
