He might not ever stop but it is likely that he got fixed a little late and already developed a habit that will now be tough to break, you just have to keep letting him know that you don't like that and every time he tries, push him down then walk away and give him no attention for about 10 min then sit down again and when you notice him thinking about it again, do the same thing, this might take a while and you might have to refresh his memory every once in a while,or you could always get him a teddy bear and replace your arm with the teddy and put him in an area of the house that can just be for him and his teddy ,so there are no embarrassing moments when company comes over.

It will continue until you make him stop. I have three male dogs, neutered and none of them hump anybody. It's just bad manners! You have to get the dog to stop the behaviour. Has he any training at all? startle him, distract him from humping, look him in the eye and say 'no' and do this everytime. Let him know you definitely don't like what he is doing and he will stop.

It depends. In most cases the behaviour is an offshoot of some other initiating cause. Not so much by some sexual thing that would relate necessarily with whether or not he is neutered.

However, next time it happens, be aware of the situation. has your dog been normally socialised in the recent times? Are you wearing a particularly provocative shirt? Do you wear short sleeves that expose an inordinate amount of your arm skin in a close and tantalising proximity to your dog?

I mean, to be blunt about it, maybe your arm is asking for it. ;)

That is something that neutering helps but doesn't completely stop. You should get loud enough when you push him off to get his attention. I have a 5 yr old male that the humane society neutered at 12 weeks and he still wants to dance with my females who are spay.

Pam is suited--he's making an attempt to be the "alpha" member of your %. and dominate you. Neutering will help, yet will possibly no longer restoration the difficulty. you're able to be able to desire to ensure which you're in charge, no longer him. we've accomplished this with our 2 male canine. whilst they get excessively agressive or start up attempting to hump, I stress them onto their backs and carry their mouths closed (do no longer conceal the nostrils). Say "No!" firmly and stay in that place till the canine stops suffering. additionally, do no longer harm eye touch till he does.
