No, but it's your wedding and at least it will be unique. That's a good sign nobody has pictures taken like that, your wedding will be one of a kind. I think it's an awesome idea!

TRY LOOKING UNDER COUNTRY WESTERN WEDDING'S

You say: "This is what we've chosen for the wedding party to wear during the ceremony. If it makes you uncomfortable, we understand and hope that you will still come to the wedding as a guest. If you want to change or add a top hat during the reception, after the photos, you're welcome to do so." You give a little (letting them wear whatever they want after the ceremony and photos are done) and they give a little (wearing the requested outfit for all of the official wedding activities) - hopefully this is a compromise everyone can live with. Honestly, I've been a bridesmaid so many times and it never once occurred to me to argue with the bride or make demands about the outfits. I knew when I agreed to be in the wedding party that I was agreeing to wear an outfit of her choice. I thought that was just par for the course. Unless you're requesting a super-expensive outfit that they can't afford, you don't have to capitulate to their dumb-a$$ requests.

Having a casual wedding is fine but IMO a sport coat and tie with jeans is very dated and not a good look. There is a reason why you can't find wedding parties with this look. Perhaps have them in khakis with a polo shirt or the button up. Most men own a pair of docker type dress pants and it would be more of a classic look. Or keep the jeans and loose the sport coat and tie and just have the dress shirt, that would be OK.

The tennis shoes is totally fine if you are trying to keep a funky twist on their clothing. I did a wedding where all the guys had on their converse tennies with their suits (the groom was known for wearing his converse) and it was very cute.

I recently did a wedding with the entire wedding party (except the bride) in overalls with red shirts. The event was at a rodeo. I agree, though, to drop the jackets if you're doing jeans. And make sure the guys all have the same type of jeans (ie, don't have one in new dark denim and another in acid wash cargos.)

I don't have any pics for you but I have heard of a few people in my area (rural small town) who had the groomsmen wear dark blue jeans. The bride specified that they had to be brand new dark blue jeans, no holes or anything. I think if you are having a casual wedding and the attire of the rest of the wedding party coordinates then it would be fine. You will save a ton of money too. Good luck on your wedding!

look at some country sites and fan sites, country singers look very sexy dressed in a nice jacket and clean well cut jeans... not sure about the white tennis shoes though!!

If it is an outside and casual (maybe country) wedding, and you are equally as casual or your dress complimens the casual jeans look, then why not. Just be careful that you do not combine a formal gown with a casual look for the guys. that might not look so good in pics a few years from now...

Normally if I were going to plug a blog it would be my own, but I know one that fits your question better. Try www.stylemepretty.com She has great inspiration boards, especially now since she is having a contest. Several have a yellow theme, some are casual like you are describing, but I haven't seen blue jeans done. I'd suggest talking a future groomsman into trying it out in a few test shots before you settle on that idea.

perhaps you're having a hard time finding pictures of others who have put their guys in jeans because IT'S TACKY. seriously? jeans? now, i'm not saying people have to stick with all the normal traditions but jeans?!!!

A lot of people opt to do more casual weddings, it's your day do it the way you want!!

Oh and while I was searching for link I found that quite a few people are doing "black tie/blue jean" events, so it really isn't as different as people may think.
Here is what I found:
