Yes. But, if He created Himself, who created Him?

The "truth" is that our feeble brains simply can't wrap around these ultimate questions. How did the universe come to be? The orthodox idiot answer is: God created it. Well, then, who created God? "He is and always was and always will be." But the entire crux of the argument that the universe must have been created is that there cannot be an "actual infinite": everything that exists must have had a beginning. So there goes our actual infinite God!

In fact theism is a case of writing "God" for "X" and calling it a day. Any theoretical problems that arise are dealt with by theoretically exempting God - because He's God, after all!

It is MUCH more honest to admit that we do not know. As for people who take the Bible narrative seriously, they're simply beneath intellectual contempt.

If it's so easy to believe that God always existed, then why can't believers accept that the universe was just always there? Why create a middleman (GOD)?

Fact: The universe exist

Conclusion: It must have been a magic sky daddy that there is no evidence of that created the universe!!

Actually, God created the universe the way the bible says. I know a lot of people might disagree because they say "man wrote it". God wrote the bible through man. You can't pick and chose parts in the bible to believe. Either you believe or don't believe. It is that simple. He has always been there and always will be. This is where faith comes in. If you have faith you will believe.

anything, creating itself, is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Well, the dumbest thing today. Saying he can do the impossible is the battle cry for people who are afraid to ask questions.

God is eternal. He doesn't have a beginning or an end. He doesn't have a past or a future. He just IS. "I AM" at all times.
