im thinking about piercing my lip.. but im not sure if i should.. wat do u all thing? should i.. and if i do... does it hurt?

IF you like it, get it. Who cares whta anyone else thinks? lol
IT doesnt hurt, but then again , i like the feeling of it. I used to describe it as a little tiny person kicking a hole into your face lol It not as bad as you think it will be.
Just remember a few things.
1) there will be a hole/scar after you decide to take it out
2) the inside of your lip may scar up also
3) your teeth might chip.
I played with my ring so much that i have a small tiny chip on the edge of my top front tooth. Just from wearing it away i suppose. I still also have the hole scar under my lip. When i smile you can see it when my lip stretches.
Just keep that in mind :) Other than that, go get it done and say **** the world!

I say go for it. I've got mine and it looks great. Don't listen to the people on here saying how it looks trashy and you cant get a job with it. I have a great job and all I have to do is put in a retainer during work. If you want it go for it, it hurts a little, but it could be worse. Enjoy your piercing.

i personally don't want piercing on my lip because people will look at it but as long as u don't regret of wat u have done then just maybe try it for few days c if you like it and if you don't like it take it off and go to the doctors to give you a prescription to heal the mark away. i don't think it will hurt. but if u do get it pierced BE BRAVE!!!

some people look good with it and some look bad and i think that if u want 2 than u should but first take an earring and put it over your lip and see if u like it.

just a question what are you gonna say 10 years from now with a hole in yur lip? If you really want it go for it but think into the future.....seriously

1 - no you should not
2 - yes it hurts
3 - it looks totally ridiculous
4 - it could be dangerous (infection)
5 - 10 years from now you will be kicking yourself for pulling such a brainless stunt. There you will be with a ugly looking hole in your lip.

Unless you live in Africa, I can find no sane reason for piercing your lip.

well its really up to you hun =D doesn't matter what other ppl think! yeah theres gonna be pain involved. Make sure you check into where you wanna get it done and make sure the place is clean=). Good Luck with your decision!

It doesn't hurt. But every I know who has kept theirs in ended up with damaged teeth and gums. No one looks hot with chipped/missing teeth.

most of the people who answered are complete lame-asses, do it if you want to. i did my labret myself more the once and it didnt hurt the first time, and i had to keep repiercing it. the 2nd time yes because i was ripping thru scar tissue. i dont think it looks crazy at all. just do it it will be fine
