only god knows truly what is in your heart and one day all of us will be judged.
seems simple enough to me.

Basically, all people live after death, either in Heaven or Hell. We get bodies suited for where we will be. The 1000 years of peace is when Jesus will be on earth to rule. After this time is the Great White Throne Judgment, which is for all nonbelievers. They will end up in the Lake of Fire. After death is eternity. The question is where you will be.

Try the book called "The Lamb and His Enemies" by Rubel Shelley. I didn't see the TV show you're talking about but it sounds like they took a wrong turn. My understanding of the Revelation is that it refers to the fall of the Roman Empire because of the persecution of the first century church. It is written in apocalyptic (figurative) language so the letter could be passed around to each of the seven churches of Asia without fear of further persecution.

Hell means grave in Hebrew. Even the worst fundamentalists had to take it out of the Hebrew scriptures to keep their integrity, although they still believe in it. It always was a non Jewish, non Christian notion. Whether we do well in the future depends on if we get our act together, that's obvious as well as scriptural. It amazes me how believers, and not knowers, don't understand Hebrew symbolism. If we behave it will be the real culprits that are eliminated, ignorance, wrong ideas bad attitudes, cynicism and negativity.

please take the History channel with a grain of salt or a whole bag, they don't get it right very often. They think they do but there were a few problems there, the thousand years of peace will be here on earth. best thing to do, pray before you read and pray after you read and think about what you read, the holy spirit will help you understand

well ballin the way i understand it we all have to answer to god when our time comes, whatever you do in your life is answerable to after death, try and do the best you can towards your fellow man and the animals, lead a responsible life of kindness, love and truth then you cannot be judged harshly.
